“I stopped here for a night before my flight the next day. During Covid times they allowed me to check in at 8am which was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and comfy, not what you normally expect from an Airport hotel. You were always greeted with a smile (I think?) under the masks and anything I ordered to the room was prompt. I think the Manager was Matt and his team were fantastic and went above and beyond for me. Thanks to the young lad who drove me to the airport too! Would highly recommend to any travellers stopping by Manchester Airport.”

“Our 3 rescue dogs went to stay here while we went on our holidays. It's such an amazing place the dogs are treated as part of the family and have access to outside space all day. They are walked to a large field as well. Mine didn't want to come back. Even our fussy rescue enjoyed herself. We was kept upto date with updates while away so out mind was at rest. Would highly recommend”

The only disappointing thing about the room was, there was no hand wash in the bathroom and the pedal bin didn't work.”

“Samson and Nala spent 5 months with Helen and Jan, we initially thought it would only be a few weeks until we bought our house. It was an emotional time being separated from our fur babies, Helen and Jan cared for us as well as our cats, we visited often and always had a cup of tea and a chat. The rooms are amazing with lots of toys to keep them stimulated, they changed rooms for a change of scenery, Samson has a history of having a sensitive stomach and was fed top quality food, their emotional needs were met with lots of daily cuddles, we were kept updated and any problems Helen would let us know. Helen and Jan have a genuine passion for cats, we were so happy with their care. The day we picked them up was emotional for all, Samson and Nala are now settled in our new house and we will always be so grateful for the love and care of our fur babies. “This is a very well located pub/hotel for visiting Glossop main street and the surrounding countryside. The room was a good size, recently decorated, with a good bathroom. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good. Breakfast was also available from 9.00am. The room and the food were very reasonably priced. Very nice helpful staff which made for an enjoyable stay.”
