“I have read the review of James Hughes below. Thought I would add.. I was present when James entered the shop, helped himself to coffee without asking or being offered (I appreciate we’ve all been raised differently!) .. jumped the queue .. before announcing ‘the last barber messed my haircut up and I would like mine washing now’ .. I was in the seat near the window and I looked at the owner with an expression of ‘what the ***‘ absolutely amazed at his rudeness. Still.. they all treated him with respect. Amazed to see the review below ! I too have been going to this barbers since they opened. They are 100% top drawer. Absolutely professional, courteous and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. “Just passed the place and it was quite so I popped in for a much needed trim. Place was clean and stylish, was warmly greeted by a friendly young lad who did exactly what I wanted. Took his time and kept checking to make sure I was happy with his work. Had a brief friendly chat too. Price was also very fair and reasonable and definitely worth it. “After moving over from the Dark side (Yorkshire) decided to use the same place that my partners son uses. You know when you find somewhere and you know you have to keep going back as you trust them (Like finding a great car garage) then this is the place. Great set of lads, good banter and yes they remember your names and are always pleased to see you. OK not the cheapest but quality comes at a price and its not bad really. “Would 100% recommend, I went in on Sunday morning to get my hair cut and it was my first time here... As you will all know trying somewhere new after going to the same place for years is hard but the owner made me feel incredibly welcome, he knew his stuff and was very friendly. One thing that stood out to me was that when other customers came in he explained the rough wait time to them, offering them a drink and continued to take his time on my cut, he didn't speed up or try to rush and made sure I was 100% happy. It was a genuinely great experience and will be coming here weekly going forward. Can't stress enough how good the service was for the price!”
