“My hubs and our 3 children have all had lessons here, including guitar, piano, African drums and ukulele. Each and every one of them enjoyed coming to the shed. Their teachers have always been brilliant and adapted to meet their individual learning needs. One of my children has autism and Dawn went above and beyond to keep him engaged and moving forward with his learning when he was very rigid in what he wanted to do. Dawn and Dave are a credit to our community and I know they will only ever use the best teachers. How do I know this? They are parents themselves and their own children have undertaken lessons at The Shed!”

“I absolutely love my piano lessons with Lauren! They were made even better when I took part in the most recent Christmas showcase where I met other students and teachers. It was such a memorable experience being placed in an adult band and rehearsing together for our showcase! Adam, Lauren (both Laurens and Kat (to name a few teachers) did an AMAZING job organising the showcases and getting is all energised and fully prepared for the show! They really are a credit to Anthem Music School, thank you so much! Xx”

“I joined SEM on a whim towards the end of 2019 studying music production & composition with zero knowledge nor experience. I started 2021 feeling equipped and skilled enough to write and produce my first album :) This is a really special school that has been a game-changer for me. The facilities are quality and the staff are a bunch of passionate and talented souls who go that extra mile when it comes to nurturing/developing their students. I wasted no time in jumping on the business module course when i had the chance which has been massively helpful in preparing my campaign. It's always a treat to study around like-minded musicians, so it's very easy to fit in and make a home out of the place. I couldn't recommend it enough and i'll be back when i have some spare cash! “This studio apartment exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, bright, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby amenities. I highly recommend this apartment.”

“Very well organised. Nice and clean. Disabled access was good. Bar drink code was adequate and refreshments were available. Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.”

“Excellent staff, beer and prices. Visited this at the weekend when Manchester was baking and City was playing their first home game of the season. So was a little worried about what the service would be like. I needn't have worried. Fast friendly service all day. We stopped just for one, but when we got seats and a table in the sun and had our first pint of Jimmy's Cider, one quickly turn into half a dozen! Even though the place was hammered before kick-off time the service was wonderful. I had just had a very bad experience at the Crown and Kettle and boy oh boy they could do with visiting here and seeing what customer service is all about. Will be back again. Thanks all for making our day!”

“Visiting from Edinburgh, I decided to try out your club. It wasn’t usually my particular scene, but soo glad I did come in. I enjoyed it so much I returned a second night. I would like to really say that the venue is not only immaculate, the staff were very friendly also. Making us really welcome. I really wanted to mention your door steward. One girl who was on the door that night is an asset to your club. Not only did she keep the club safe, her observation is incredible. She spotted two male individuals that were about to be a serious problem and she spotted it well before it escalated. One particular male was very threatening toward my girlfriend who I was there with. Your steward removed him before it got me into a difficult situation. I understand it’s not easy to stop the problem at the door, but she did an impeccable job. Many thanks for allowing us access and we will re visit again.”

“I have been in the Brewers twice recently. Its very nicely decorated and comfortable inside. The Cocktails are 2 for 1 which is fab. On a nice day you can sit outside and the atmosphere in the village is vibrant and fun.”

“Rock out is fantastic! Been here for a good few years now and my kids hardly ever stick with anything. My 2 boys go here oldest is 13 and has learnt to play electric guitar with rock out and my youngest is 8 and is now learning to play the drums. Mike runs the show and is brill, always runs smoothly and arranges a performance each year which the kids look forward to. The sessions are fab and all the teachers are enthusiastic and great with kids. Glad we found this place and highly recommend it”
