“This was my second visit, and this time I decided to try the Kinoko Ramen. Even though it only contained veggies, the broth was rich and scrumptious. The shiitake mushrooms and tomatoes were not just cooked in the soup but also marinated and grilled, which add intensity and complexity to the flavor. Overall, I have no regrets about coming back to this restaurant and I am already hyped to go again.”

“An amazing experience! The inside is decorated beautiful, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was divine. We had the takoyaki and fried tofu to start. After this we had the sushi set 1 (mixed fish sushi selection) and vegetarian sushi set (mixed vegetables selection) which was incredibly yummy, fresh and looked beautiful! We finished our meal with ice cream mochi and pancakes. In total the price was beyond reasonable (think under £60 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and alcoholic drinks) Will definitely be back!”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“I went there for lunch. It was quick and quiet. They got lunch menu, great price for such lovely food. Dinning area is smaller than I thought but that remind me of those local businesses in Japan.”

“My experience every time I go to this restaurant is absolutely nice. Great customer service, serene environment and lovely ambience. The only issue is parking because it is located in a very busy area of the city. I would also prefer more comfortable seats. The high-five drink is super amazing. My overall experience so far is good and I will always revisit.”

“I do not leave reviews very often but I have to for this one. We came for a Christmas Eve meal in a beautiful setting. From the food all the way down to the service, they go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. Food is bursting with flavour and filling. Had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced here, staff are kind, friendly and fantastic with the children. I cannot fault anything with this restaurant at all. Thanks for a lovely evening. “On arrival we got given the menu as we waited for a table. When we got taken to our table the staff were quick at serving us and were very polite and had good knowledge of the local area as we were visiting.”

“Absolutely love coming to wing yip, growing up i didnt really go to asian supermarkets and as i've got older i have come to love the trip to our local supermarket. The range and variety are absolutely stunning, there are brilliant little finds here, it sells dishes, pans and crockery that help transform your dining from casual kitchen to oriental fusion. On today's visit i bought some lovely chinese snacks, which i dont believe i could find anywhere other than here at Wing Yip, i got some vermicelli noodles, some fresh vegetables and fish, i also got some fermented black beans which are absolutely stunning, i also when visiting here always grab something random and try it and today was a bottle of Heinz Ox Sauce which i think i'll coat some deep fried chicken wings in. They also have a brilliant and extensive selection of frozen food from sui mai to frozen crabs. I'd say this place would be amazing for all your chinese cuisine needs. Highly recommend to anyone looking to shop and cook this amazing food.”

“My first time at Yo Sushi! After ordering on the app, drinks/food is sent on the smart conveyor belt, stopping at your table. Neat! I got about 90% vegan dishes, and they were all delicious (see the pic I’ve uploaded). This is specific, but I absolutely love the nori. There were several things on the 99p Menu offering fantastic value.”

“Happened to be in Wilmslow for a wedding at the weekend and found this place whilst wandering around for some dinner. Glad I found the place. I'm not a huge sushi fan but the choice for sashimi was quite vast. I chose the vegetarian gyoza. They looked great and tasted good too. They could have maybe been a bit crisper inside but it didn't deflect from the taste. I decided on the only ramen on the menu. It was as good as any I've had at chain ramen restaurants and a bit better. The decor is modern and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and efficient. A nice find.”

“The uramaki rolls and crispy fried squid are fantastic! It tasted like the maki rolls were made using fresh ingredients and were very flavourful and saucy. The katsu roll was our favourite! Good value for money too, with 10 pieces in each maki roll. Would highly recommend this place.”

“Cannot fault this place at all. The manager welcomed us very happily into the restaurant and we were promptly assorted to our table which had plenty of space for our baby who was in a pram! This is always nice when they consider where they place you (not in the way). The tablet ordering system is very well established and the food and drink is delivered very quickly and amazingly now with robot servers with cat faces on the screens..this adds to the overall experience. The food (mainly sushi) was very very tasty! We have been before years ago but it seems to have improve since then. More taste and options for sushi. The crunchy rolls were great :D Now it was a pre-celebration for our wedding and they played a congratulations song on the system and brought out a cute little plate with a piece of dessert with a candle and a congratulations written on the plate. It's not the cheapest place to go and some of the staff are pretty miserable (not the bar man or manager) just the staff who clear tables and bring some of the food items. To also add a compulsory service charge when this is the case does leave a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth. But saying all this our experience was on the most part great and we will return soon.”

Set in a simple setting, aka sushi dishes really do speak volume. With a small open kitchen and what seems like a huge menu everything is prepared there and then. We ordered: Sushi Set A (16 pieces) consisted of: 3 Salmon Sashimi, 3 Tuna Sashimi, 3 Salmon Nigiri, 3 Tuna Nigiri, 4 Salmon Roll & Seaweed Salad. Salmon Bento Box: Salmon Fillet, rice, chips, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad & baby leaf salad. The box usually comes with chicken too but it's not halal so we were allowed to swap it. Food was served quickly, presented nicely and was really good. Definitely a good sushi spot. Location: Unit 1, St James Tower, 7 Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4DZ Monday to Sunday 12-10pm”
