“We popped in today, really welcoming staff, clean place, food was amazing, lots of people coming in for fresh made panini in their lunch break!! Pizza = amazing Lasagne =amazing, even the coffee and desserts don't disappoint (didn't get a picture of those, because we ate them too quickly)”

“I stumbled upon this little gem by accident because Tesco Extra next door had no cafe and I asked somebody where can I get a sit down meal. Thankfully they told me about the indoor market and that there were 2 places I could get a meal. One was Heaven Italian Cafe, well 5 stars, the staff are lovely, the beef pasta was lovely I will definitely be back. Needs more advertising tho cos its a shame for people who dont know its there, they are missing out.”

We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. “We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“Never been here before but its reputation precedes it and we weren't disappointed. The menu was extensive with plenty of mouth watering dishes to enjoy. The waiters were friendly and efficient. Although the place was packed, we didn't feel pressured to finish up. When the bill arrived we couldn't believe how reasonable it was - and that just topped off the evening nicely. A++”

When you are inside, you actually forget that you are in Oldham. Highly recommended.”

“The food was good, as was the service. It wouldn't be fair to comment on the atmosphere as we called late on a Sunday night. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys there, and pizzas were served promptly. Really loved the sourdough texture.”

“First time trying blonde lady very friendly let us try sauce before ordering. Left pasta in photo is salmon and right picture is spicy chicken. Spicey chicken with mild sauce was really tasty glad I didn't have the spicey sauce as it would have been too spicy. Salmon was also tasty aswell which I never really eat. Decent portions we ordered two large pastas and two decent drinks for around 20 pound and we was that fill we didn't have the energy to finsh off shopping ha ha .”

We were early but got seated promptly. I kinda expected a large restaurant but was surprised by the small homely vibe to it. The staff were lovely with their recommendations on the menu. We began with two starters a battered aubergine flower filled with cheese and lamb skewers. Both were excellent. Then my pumpkin goat cheese ravioli was really nice. My friend got the black pasta with black garlic. I liked that one better, and my friend preferred my dish. The Italian style cola was a surprise. I got free biscuits. We are so full we couldn’t get dessert but the tiramisu looked amazing. Have to go back again. Price: ££ (25£ for two course and a drink) Visited: 27/10/2021 Time: 20:15”

The bed was so comfy and the room was brilliantly equipped, and a great location for visiting different parts of the Peaks. The roast dinner on Sunday and the cooked breakfasts were a definite highlight for us and we would love to come back again! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and looked after :)”
