Hotel Indigo Manchester - Victoria Station, an IHG Hotel
● Open“We have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and it is always a great experience. Clean, modern rooms and a good bar/restaurant. Perfect location for events at the AO Arena or if arriving via train into Manchester Victoria. Car parking is £15.00 for 24 hours (a five minute walk from the hotel). Lastly, the staff have always been friendly and professional. All in all it’s a great hotel in a great location for visiting central Manchester.”

The James Manchester
● Open“Great location, right next to arndale and printworks. Really clean, all staff were pleasant. Very secure, have to use fob for building floor and room entry. When we found a tin next to the beds with ear plugs in we thought we may get noise from the stree and bars across but honestly heard nothing at all, we were on second floor. There were a few car parks near by but it is walking distance from Victoria station. Doors are heavy and closers on them make them slam quite loud. Needs more milk for drinks, next time we will take our own. Very warm in apartment but all radiators have individual thermostat controls, it was nice to people watch the people leaving printworks in December seb zero temperature while in a cosy apartment.”

Royal Mills
● OpenRedhill Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6JG, United Kingdom“The epitome of New York style loft apartment living but right in the middle of Manchester. You are in the middle of a noisy city yet at night it's so quiet you'd think you were alone in the veritable middle-of-nowhere, probably something to do with the thick 19th century walls. An amazing glass house structure covers the whole of the centre of the quad and coffee drinkers can be often seen imbibing in this area. The building is grade II listed, which means the outside character and look has to be maintained. 24hr concierge and security along with hot water and heating included in the service charge really do make this one of the most desirable residences in central Manchester.”

Marple Aqueduct
● OpenPeak Forest, Stockport SK6 4DZ, United Kingdom“A very nice place to be and spend some time with nature. A very nice bike ride also if you're a rider or you can just walk the path from Marple memorial park and the locks. A magnificent structure that is highly recommended to visit. You can also see the train tracks behind it. You can take the stairs down and see the enormous build that is a very awesome sight to see.”

Anaconda Cut
● Open“My partner and I moved into Anaconda Cut this week. We’re so happy with the apartment and the view. All of the communal areas are well presented and have a nice finish too. My main reason for posting this review is to feedback about Elle who has been absolutely amazing from the minute we got in contact. I’ve moved around and rented around 6 times previously and I’ve never known such care and professionalism from building management/resident teams. Nothing has been too much trouble. We’ve been kept up to date with everything we need to know at exactly the right time, she has always been available to answer questions and is excellent at providing calm throughout what can be a really stressful process. We felt welcomed before even stepping foot in the building and it was lovely that she came to meet us herself when we checked in. Elle is an absolute star and AC, as well as it’s residents, are very lucky to have her. Thanks so much for everything!”

O2 Apollo
● Open“It was my first visit to the O2 Apollo Manchester, I thought it was great, like stepping back in time to an old Cinema, I was sat at the very back, last but one row. The sound was great, the Nick Masons sauce full of Secrets was great, the staff were great. There were two negatives, security were going to refuse me entry because they thought I was drunk, I was able to explain I had a health issue, but it was OK for folk to get drunk inside, seated near me some folk were getting up during the show to get beer maybe 8 or 10 times, nearly falling down the steps, I thought that once the show started we should have remained seated, showsome respect to the Act and to fellow audience. I did not let it spoil my evening, I still had a great time.”
-
Chorlton Green
● OpenWhitelow Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9FQ, United Kingdom“I originally visited this place under its previous management for breakfast and ended up with overpriced and bland bubble & squeak, ineptly served and decided that was that. Given its new management sign I decided to give it a go, and was not disappointed at all. Being a vegetarian one is forced by circumstance to become something of a connoisseur of cheese sandwiches, and the vegetarian club sandwich here is pretty close to perfect, with the creaminess of a large chunk of cheddar being well offset by the sweetness of beetroot and tomato that actually taste of beetroot and tomato. The beer selection is small and orientated to German lager, but of a very good quality and dwarfed by the winelist, coupled with an extensive number of teas and coffee and soft drinks, even the non-alcoholics wont be lacking in options. The decor itself isn't particularly anything to talk about, but more than eclipsed by the quality of the food and the character of the staff. In fact the only negative thing I can say about the place is that the mobile signal is dire, which is of no fault of the bar itself.”

Heaton Park Reservoir Pumping Station
● OpenPrestwich, Manchester M25 2GT, United Kingdom“A large relief by artist Mitzi Cunliffe (designer of the BAFTA award) depicting the course the reservoir water takes is the reason for the listing of this 1955 building. Not open to the public, but the sculpture is on the outside wall.”
