The Manchester College
● Open“The Manchester College is the largest further education college in the United Kingdom. It is the largest provider of 16–19 and adult education in Greater Manchester. The origins of the college go back to the early 19th century St. John's Sunday school, a pioneering school for workers. By the 1950s this had evolved into St John's and Openshaw Technical College. Later mergers created the Central College Manchester which became The Manchester College of Arts and Technology in Manchester, while institutions in Central Manchester, Fielden Park, Arden and Wythenshawe merged to form City College Manchester. In 2008 these two combined to form The Manchester College. The Manchester College offers courses for school leavers, adults, higher education students, employers and international students. The Manchester College is based at many sites in the city: these include Moston, Abraham Moss Community School, One Central Park, Manchester Enterprise Academy, the sixth form of St Matthew's RC High School and Harpurhey in the North; Openshaw, Preston Street, Welcomb Street, Nicholls Campus in Ardwick[9] and the Manchester School of Building in the East; Fielden Park (Didsbury), Northenden, Wythenshawe Forum and Brownley Green Wythenshawe in the South; locations in the city centre include St John's in Castlefield, Lever Street, and Shena Simon Campus in Chorlton Street in Manchester city centre. As well as this, the college are due to build a new site on the old Boddingtons' site - opposite the Manchester Arena. The MOL division specialises in delivering professional development training programmes by flexible learning. MOL has existed for more than 30 years providing HR, management, estate agency, construction and electrical engineering courses. Many courses are delivered in partnership with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). The Manchester College delivers learning and skills services to offenders in 42 secure establishments throughout England and in two probation areas. The services are contracted in both the private and public sectors to all categories of offender.”

She has helped me overcome childhood trauma and complex family issues and I cannot thank her enough. She goes above and beyond as a therapist, she does not only help you achieve what you went to therapy to do, but also creates a friendship like bond with you that helps you excel as an individual. I could not recommend her enough! Mimi Gachet x”

The Manchester College
● Open“I studied my TA apprenticeship with Debbie B and Nicola H back in 2014! I want to thank you both for motivating me and pushing me to complete the course. I really appreciated your care, time and effort you both put in for me. I was made permanent by my line manager and have been at the school for 9years now. I am now looking to retrain in business administration and computing. I will be choosing Manchester college again as the tutors do care about their students. I'm unsure what campus you both are at or if you even work with the college anymore. I hope that the next tutors I get are as dedicated as you were to me and my achievement. I am eternally grateful to you both. I know it's been 9years but I hope you get to read this. I've been busy working hard and applying all the skills you both taught me. I am now finally getting to write this To thank you both!!”

Early Learning Childcare
● Open“My daughter has been at ELC for about 9 months now. Before attednkng, she had an incredible nanny from a very early age. I was very nervous about the transition and level of care offered by a nursery compared to one on one care. We live in Spinningfields, so I conducted in depth research of the city centre childcare options. ELC wasn't the obvious choice compared to the chains in the city centre, but as soon as I met the owners / management I knew it was the right choice. ELC is family run and it really shows. Whenever there are any issues, they are incredibly proactive to create the best experience for our daughter. She had a hard time adjusting to the eating schedule so they asked what kinds of foods we eat at home in order to incorporate them into the menu. There were some staff changes with maternity leave which meant her key worker was changed. The first change didn't gel quite as well, so they transitioned to another key worker who now has an even closer relationship with her. For her settling in session, two of the staff came to our house - which was amazing and really helped her transition. She spends lots of time outdoors and taking walks. This is not the case for the other city centre nurseries. I love their Tapestry App which allows me to follow her activities and development as well as check in when I'm missing her at work. When we're traveling or doing something interesting at home I upload photos and they work them into her engagements. (Again, not available in the other nurseries.) ELC recently received a less than ideal Ofstead report which inspired me to write this review. As a parent, I am far less concerned a out procedures and paperwork than surrounding my daughter with a loving and playful environment. She is, after all, only 18 months!”

Manchester Muslim Preparatory School

This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.”
