Bruntwood Park
● Open“A wonderful park...BMX track which we enjoyed watching people use, different areas of the park including an area with sandpit, swings, slides, climbing apparatus, a zip line that was unfortunately broken, a small pond with ducks and a fantastic interactive game with silver poles that had built in touch screen games such as 2 people one is red one is blue and when your colour lights up on pole you hit it to turn it off - never seen before and it was a huge hit!!”

Cotton Field Park

There's also a brewery next door called cask now the weather's better, for a drink in the sun. Great spot for a run or just sitting outside and watching the world go by.”

The Old Wellington
● Open“We had a fantastic meal at the Old Wellington, loved it! We booked a table on the day but they had plenty of space for dining. Our server, Tina, was fantastic, really attentive and cared that we had a great experience (she even double checked our beers were ok as we can some from the bottom of the barrel, replaced with no hesitation). The food (Ocean fish and chips, burger, fish platter and landlords platter) were all fantastic - really good value for a fantastic time. Highly recommend!”

Debdale Park
● OpenHyde Road, Gorton, Manchester M18 7LJ, United Kingdom“Love Debdale Park! It’s a little bit (well a lot actually!) of countryside in a big city. It’s a break from the hustle and bustle of life and a moment of peace when you visit Debdale. There’s so much to see here, reservoirs, water birds, heroes wood, playground, cycle track (Fallowfield Loop passes here), eco centre, coffee shop, community hub, flora and fauna, wildlife, tennis courts, skateboard park, bowling, loads of space to picnic (take your rubbish away please), a Mac Donald’s, just a short walk to the Donkey Sanctuary and two large golf courses. Best using public transport to get here as there’s not loads of space to park. Well worth a visit.”
