Excellent cuisine in Manchester

“We went here on the second day. They have a very nice and simple menu of great traditional Mediterranean dishes. We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. The service is very friendly and it is a welcome and addition to the area, you will not be disappointed.”

“I had a very last minute event that I desperately needed a cake for. I contacted Mama’s cuisine and they graciously agreed to sort me out with a 12 inch cake. The owner only had a days notice and had other orders, but still managed to make mine, and had it ready earlier than agreed which was so great. Not only did the cake look DIVINE (and better than I could even imagine), but it tasted AMAZING! Everyone was so impressed with the cake, it actually became the centre piece of the party. I am forever grateful for Mamas Cuisine, and will most definitely be coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

“Food is immaculately good. We enjoyed a three course meal at Dishoom. The variety of food is great for Vegetarian and Vegans too. The unlimited tea lasts until 5pm Although, service is slow the food makes up for it. It was unbelievably hot on the day we visited, the air-conditioning was not on.”

“Had a wonderful time at the September pop-up event, every course was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The menu was full of tasty ingredients from start to finish and we can’t wait to try more dishes! Laurie is obviously a talented chef and the serving team were lovely too. “This was my second visit, and this time I decided to try the Kinoko Ramen. Even though it only contained veggies, the broth was rich and scrumptious. The shiitake mushrooms and tomatoes were not just cooked in the soup but also marinated and grilled, which add intensity and complexity to the flavor. Overall, I have no regrets about coming back to this restaurant and I am already hyped to go again.”

“The lowry theatre is amazing! The shows they put on are perfect and the venue itself is kid friendly and let's the 'older' ones enjoy a delightful night out! They put on musicals, performances, and even art galleries. My favourite shoes that I've recently watched are Six, Blood Brothers and Clue!”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”

“Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only let down is the size of the restaurant and the difficulty of fitting large groups in i.e. 12 or more. The tables have to be situated around a pillar that splits the group up and makes it difficult to get out from the table to get to the toilet. But if you are only a small group or a couple then you won't have any of the seating issues. All in all a really nice place with great food and a pleasant atmosphere.”

“I needed a place to stay for one night, close to the airport, and this Holiday Inn proved to be a great choice. Not only it's close to the airport/train station (so you don't really need a taxi if you are travelling light) but it's also new, beautifully designed, clean and with lots of different tasty choices for breakfast. I've also had dinner at the restaurant and the only thing I would say is that maybe the price was a bit high compared to the portion of the food. Something that I really liked - the eco part - is that the key cards are wooden instead of plastic and the toiletries (shampoo etc.) were in refillable containers.”

“Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.”

“I do not leave reviews very often but I have to for this one. We came for a Christmas Eve meal in a beautiful setting. From the food all the way down to the service, they go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. Food is bursting with flavour and filling. Had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced here, staff are kind, friendly and fantastic with the children. I cannot fault anything with this restaurant at all. Thanks for a lovely evening. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The portion sizes were just right. The food was well cooked and the service was quick. This restaurant is worth every penny you pay inside. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to any person looking for an authentic Middle Eastern dine-in experience.”

“I've stayed at this Premier Inn many times and I have to say, it's a very good spot. The location is great, with McDonald's just around the corner and Chinatown only a 5-minute walk away. Plus, every time we stay here we discover new parts of Manchester that we haven't seen before. It's at the quieter end of Manchester which is always a plus. The hotel is also very close to the train stop, so it's easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety of options available. Overall, I highly recommend this Premier Inn. The location is great, it's at the quieter end of Manchester and it's easy to access other parts of the city. Plus the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable”
