Diner atmosphere in Manchester

“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

“Food is immaculately good. We enjoyed a three course meal at Dishoom. The variety of food is great for Vegetarian and Vegans too. The unlimited tea lasts until 5pm Although, service is slow the food makes up for it. It was unbelievably hot on the day we visited, the air-conditioning was not on.”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Good place to grab a coffee, latte, cappuccino or thier unique turkish coffee blend served in a copper pot they will never give you a reason to complain. The place is always busy (which is a good sign) and is always clean. It has a good seating area with tables outside also. The hot drinks are always amazing. Overall a good place to sit and relax for a while. Customer service is good too.”

“I went here with my wife around a week ago and was impressed. Food was brilliant, I had the King Kong Burger and Sir mix a lot fries, very well presented and the taste was good. “2 words will describe this place, Absolutely superb, Was heading to Kaspar's which is next door but one but family was hungry so decided to give this place a try and what a wonderful choice it was. Kids loved the pizzas and burgers and we 4 adults ordered the Babylon special platter which had all the top choices for just £39.99, it was huge, everything was delicious and also the guys who run the place were very nice and the service was super fast. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Bolton looking for nice meal with reasonable price. Top attraction was the parrot, it was gorgeous and will invite you by saying "hello" and "goodbye" and "bye bye" He even greets you in Arabic language by saying "Marhaba" and "Assalaam Waalaikum" Thanks for the lovely meal guys.”

“Stayed here solo while on a two-day break, was fairly priced and also easy to get to and from the city centre on the tram. Also love the location right next to Heaton Park, started off one of my mornings with a walk around it. The room itself, like the hotel, wasn't exactly modern but it was still very comfortable and spacious so can't ask for much more! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked myself in for breakfast on my last morning, which was tasty. Really enjoyed my stay here, look forward to the next one!”

“Vapiano is a Fantastic Choice for Pizza, Pasta & all things Italian. I personally eat Halal and was surprised to see they offered Halal Chicken here... The Food is authentic and mouth watering. I have been going here for 5-6 Years and wouldn't place any other Italian Joint above it. The interior of the Restaurant is very Light, Open & Airy. There are 3 Levels and plenty of Seating. They even have a Good Kids menu, my Son just Loves coming here and getting the Margarita Pizza in the Shape of a Bunny.”

Set in a simple setting, aka sushi dishes really do speak volume. With a small open kitchen and what seems like a huge menu everything is prepared there and then. We ordered: Sushi Set A (16 pieces) consisted of: 3 Salmon Sashimi, 3 Tuna Sashimi, 3 Salmon Nigiri, 3 Tuna Nigiri, 4 Salmon Roll & Seaweed Salad. Salmon Bento Box: Salmon Fillet, rice, chips, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad & baby leaf salad. The box usually comes with chicken too but it's not halal so we were allowed to swap it. Food was served quickly, presented nicely and was really good. Definitely a good sushi spot. Location: Unit 1, St James Tower, 7 Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4DZ Monday to Sunday 12-10pm”

Order ahead or get there early though as it is very popular and gets busy quickly. especially around lunch times.”
