The Manchester College
“The Manchester College is the largest further education college in the United Kingdom. It is the largest provider of 16–19 and adult education in Greater Manchester. The origins of the college go back to the early 19th century St. John's Sunday school, a pioneering school for workers. By the 1950s this had evolved into St John's and Openshaw Technical College. Later mergers created the Central College Manchester which became The Manchester College of Arts and Technology in Manchester, while institutions in Central Manchester, Fielden Park, Arden and Wythenshawe merged to form City College Manchester. In 2008 these two combined to form The Manchester College. The Manchester College offers courses for school leavers, adults, higher education students, employers and international students. The Manchester College is based at many sites in the city: these include Moston, Abraham Moss Community School, One Central Park, Manchester Enterprise Academy, the sixth form of St Matthew's RC High School and Harpurhey in the North; Openshaw, Preston Street, Welcomb Street, Nicholls Campus in Ardwick[9] and the Manchester School of Building in the East; Fielden Park (Didsbury), Northenden, Wythenshawe Forum and Brownley Green Wythenshawe in the South; locations in the city centre include St John's in Castlefield, Lever Street, and Shena Simon Campus in Chorlton Street in Manchester city centre. As well as this, the college are due to build a new site on the old Boddingtons' site - opposite the Manchester Arena. The MOL division specialises in delivering professional development training programmes by flexible learning. MOL has existed for more than 30 years providing HR, management, estate agency, construction and electrical engineering courses. Many courses are delivered in partnership with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). Manchester Film School
“Studied hear for three years after going to university in London for 2 months and leaving as I knew it wasn't the right course. I came by this course by chance and it was the best decision I made. During the three years I managed to secure work experience (Paid) on Feature Films, Commercials, Documentaries, and TV Shows. Even had the opportunity to work for Burberry Fashion, and with Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes. Without the first opportunity from MFS I'd never have been able to have those opportunities. The skills and knowledge I learnt from this school have helped so much even in experiences where I may have not been working in Film and TV. Yes, the tutors can be hard on you, however it's because they know you aren't working to your full potential and they want you to grow and be the best YOU can be. The equipment they have is also unbelievable and they have fantastic relationships with kit hire companies giving you even more experience.”

Manchester Communication Academy Primary
“This is my child fifth year at MCPA and I am so incredibly grateful that is the school where we landed in. I remember 5 years ago when my child started the school without any level or skills in English-speaking. That day we just moved a few weeks ago from Hungary. Nowadays my child is able to reading, writing, counting and speaking fluently in English. Teachers have been phenomenal at MCPA. They care about the children. Truly a school where no child is left behind. The community and school staff has doing everything to make easier the learning process during the first lock down. They provide interesting and challenging home work through class dojo. The school always give every relevant information to parents about their children. Teachers in here are a good role model for every child at MCPA. All members in this community are very supportive and helpful. I recommend this school to everyone who wants to their children in a safe and expert hands with an inspiring environment and helpful community.”

“I DISAGREE with ALL those negative reviews below. Iam am a student of Eden Girls and this school has been positioned SECOND BEST SCHOOL IN ALL OF MANCHESTER Eden girls is a very organised school and keeps everything up to date. They have after school enrichments and intervention if your daughter is below target on a certain subject. Eden has high expectations but this doesn't make the school worse. We go on trips which the school pays for. All you have to do is turn up! I would DEFINITELY recommend this school Please send your daughter here and, trust me, you will not regret it!”
