I have to have comfortable fitting shoes and I've found a gem of a shoe shop that supplies such high quality, comfortable fitting shoes. More importantly wider fitting ones too! In the past I've walked long distance and endured the pain but with Allens footwear I'm now able to to walk long distance in amazing pain-free comfort. “I went in yesterday afternoon and asked for a gait analysis as I have lost my orthotics and have been experiencing pain, the gentleman who dealt with me was absolutely fantastic, listened to everything I needed and chose footwear based on my needs and the analysis, unfortunately they didn't have the correct colour that I could wear for work in stock so he checked stocks across stores for me and let me take a photo of his computer screen so I could source the right pair online which I did actually manage to do last night. I was given several pairs and sizes to try after discussing previous running shoes and what I currently wear. I am disappointed that I didn't get to purchase in store because he was very attentive and knowledgeable , without pushing anything on me or forcing any kind of sale. I will certainly be back!”

I was impressed when I visited the Arnadale shop, and was served by Jordon, the time and care he showed me, advising me about my best choice. Eventually I chose the trekker featured. Great sale on at the moment( although the item i chose was not in the sale, that was purely personal choice). I'd advise you to get down there and see not only the quality footwear, emphasis here being on the word "quality", but a fine selection of parkas and lots of choice in fashinable outdoor wear.”

“After the poor experience from JD I went to Footasylum were i was greeted by staff. I chose the trainers that I wanted and a tall gentleman looked after me and was quick and efficient. Very good experience and my little girl got the trainers she wanted. There was a lady at the stairs who said good bye and have a nice day. I will be coming back. Thabkyou.”

“I visited the shop on Tuesday 16th when in Bury for business meeting. I'd popped in to the arcade to head to Boots Opticians and saw the shop. I ended up buying a pair of Dr Marten shoes that I am very happy with. The staff were great, even after an initial gripe about service on my part. My fault, I'd not realised the staff had asked me if I wanted help, and I missed this and ignored them. I then complained only for the staff to help, be patient and explain what had happened. Great shop and service, and at the end was asked if all was okay by the manager/owner who was genuinely concerned.”

They do gait analysis for free and spend so much time making sure you leave with the perfect pair. I have had my New Balance for about 3 months and they have stopped my knee pain.
