“I have been learning to improve my front crawl with Emmie. She is a great teacher, very friendly, she listened to what I want to achieve and helped me a lot! She corrected where I was doing wrong which I never realised! We worked on my strokes, arms kicks body positions and tumble turns and a lot of other stuff. I definitely improved a lot.I am so glad I took these lessons it’s definitely worth it!”

“Love this place, proper old school gym, good old fashioned equipment and lots of it too, never had to wait for a machine etc as there are so many of them, the boxing room at the back is well equipped with 6 hanging bags and loads of other equipment and yes the plaster may be coming off the walls but it adds to the character of the gym! No nonsense place! The people that use the gym are very friendly as are the staff too.”

“A former cinema transformed into a classic swimming pool in the 1960s and refurbed brilliantly in 2016. I learned to swim here. The lane systems work well for advanced swimmers along one side graduating to groups who swim n chat at the other. A pool that works for EVERYONE. I love it.”

Staff is very polite and makes sure that the clients are comfortable (offering food and blankets along with any help). Honestly one of best hospitals I’ve been in.!”
