Caffè Grande Abaco

"Food is lovely. Expensive for what it is and somewhat over priced. The staff try and be too technical and insist on taking orders on ipads. They don't accept cash which is a problem when I have been in the past and the system stops working. The food is lovely so it definitely compensates although not something you most afford to do regular. Great for couples etc. But would definitely be far too expensive to go with a family and children. Although there is seating outside none of the inside is wheelchair accessible if you wanted to keep warm. Very young staff for the most part but lovely."

"Stopped here for lunch today. It's a lovely, attractive and very clean cafe bar however we felt a little let down by the food. My husband had soup and a sandwich which at £10.50 was steep: the soup was nice but the sandwich had hardly any filling. I ordered the "Design Your Own Sandwich" where I chose ham and cheese with salad. Again the filling was poor, consisting of one slice of cheap, 'plastic' ham and two slices of cheese. At £7.95 I would have expected better quality ham at least. All in all we felt rather short-changed."

"Now I have been coming here years . Never a complaint on the food BUT the serving staff just not very good I am afraid . As per pics ordered the Abaco large board with wine £45 it ain’t cheap we had a few other drinks also . After first drink tried to order the staff are expert at looking down to avoid eye contact small young female short dumpy asked twice can we order . Asked same one for cutlery for the food smiled nodded but ignored what we said . Eventually tall blonde lady took our order very friendly , food came no cutlery asked young lad can we have some he came back with 1 knife ! Asked could we have a knife each at least !! Problem is they are always full , prime spot and food good but boy are the service staff slow and seem obsessed with spraying tables ! Anywhoo I will continue to go but come on it ain’t tricky . Few tables few drinks and food work hard get tips ."

"A unique cafe bar in a village setting of Uppermill Saddleworth! Me being a regular visitor to come here when it was 2 floors it was called Java ! This cafe is now the heart of Uppermill on the famous strength of road surrounded by Bars restaurants and boutiques . Expanding to four floors you would worry places can close when they change ! This place delivers in every way with menu ! The coffee brand , family time , kids are more than welcome , the theme nights they have here ! When your here it’s like your in the Mediterranean somewhere with beautiful tables outside with shelter & heaters ! Try it for your self ! Very dog friendly! Not forgetting their new business across the road for cheeky coffee & fresh croissants & cannolis filled with your favourites !"

"Nice restaurante but the tables and chairs are very close to each other and small space between them The chocolate muffins are one of the best I had The bagels are delicious but not the one with chicken I didn’t like it The waffle is sweet and delicious Service is very nice and the staff are friendly and nice Most of the cafes an the area are small and full we had to come here again ( nice point for them )"
