“What can I say? Incredible doesn't quite cover it. My niece and I went yesterday as a treat for her 30th birthday. We were greeted with a smile, the door opened for us, and promptly taken up to homage on the mezzanine level above the glorious and very impressive restaurant. We were seated in the most exquisite room, and both felt very special indeed. Our jackets were taken and hung, the menu's described to us. We each ordered a cocktail to start, and these were delicious . Amy had the special cocktail of the day which was aptly called lovely lady ( very fitting for my niece) and I really wanted something with an almond flavour, so one was created for me, very impressive. We then ordered our cheeses, 3 to start, and we paired these with wine. We followed this with even more of the extensive cheese selection. Again paired with wine. Each cheese has a chutney alongside it to pair with the flavour of the cheese. Some little bread roll, and some biscuits that basically melted in your mouth. I even had a dessert which was incredible, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of this, but it was a little like a creme brulle, with tonka bean flavour ( similar to vanilla) it had the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The room we were in was absolute luxury. There was relaxing background music, candlelight everywhere, very comfortable chairs, an extremely intimate feeling to it. We literally had the room to ourselves which made it feel even more special. The bathroom is situated on the same floor which is great. Last but by no means least , Michael was our incredible host, very knowledgeable about every wine and cheese, extremely professional, attentive and I would say an absolute asset to Wood. Thank you Michael for making our visit so memorable and special. I would highly recommend homage at Wood. You will not be disappointed.”

“Great burrito place in the Manchester city centre, on Oxford Street. A very simple menu which I found quite refreshing. All toppings are included in the price (you get good value for your money), no hidden extras at all, which, unfortunately, is very rare. Four different meats, five sauces too choose from and a variety of Mexican beers. You can also go for a quesadilla or some nachos. The staff are nice and friendly, the service is very quick. Nice interior with plenty of seating inside and outside.”

“I've been ordering from here for just over a year. So this review isn't based on one meal. I've never seen a single order dip in quality. Every time has been consistent. The food we order is definitely value for the money and I have not had any issues with lateness. I will continue to use this place.”

“What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”

“Super peri peri Chicken restaurant in Manchester. I have had meals in this Nando's in Pars Wood several times. Never ever disappointed. Humus with peri peri spice is excellent. Grilled Halloumi fantastic. Staff is friendly. Nice ambiance. Quick turn around time. Sauces are amazing. Love the garlic peri peri medium. Even burgers are quite nice. Can be busy at times. Highly recommended.”

It was late night I ordered click and collect pizza from Domino's Pizza - Manchester - Arena and found that the shop was closed and I was asked to come for collection but when they knew the situation they came to me for delivery.. They saved me that day.. Special thanks to Oxford road Domino’s Pizza guy who delivered pizza that night.. Bless you”

“Caught these guys on the corner having a grand opening. Very nice eat in facilities, no where else in the area has seating. The O.T burger has been recommended and let me tell you those chicken burgers are delicious. The menu looks outstanding. Formidable chicken. Absolutely legendary stuff. Also greeted by very nice staff who are happy to help This is literally a game changer. Fresh, local and tasty. Meals are reasonably priced, box meal with chips and drink for less than £10. Drove past here and was eating my burger within the hour. We are very lucky to now have a decent burger/takeaway place in Failsworth, this area needed good fast food joint and here it is.”

“Highly commended on all fronts. A really nicely presented shop with a small seating area, really lovely and helpful staff. And the food was all excellent. We tried some goat curry, the chicken, a dumpling, rice with peas and a lovely fresh salad. All really tasty and fresh. Sorry, no pictures this time but we will definitely be back!”

“Great selection of coffee beans, beverages and drinks available. My partner loves the coffee beans to buy and thoroughly enjoys the notes, especially from the Africa region. Probably one of the best mocha I've had ever from here, although I do recommend hot chocolate and the other coffee based drinks!”

“Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price, great service and a passion for food and impressing the customer. Very good menu of Italian favourites as well as some more items that show off the Italian pedigree. Fantastic thin crust wood fired pizzas that are also very popular to collect and takeaway. Good choice of wine and beverages with a focus on italian beers, all your favourites are here. Nice atmosphere as the restaurant isn't massive with an open kitchen with the pizza oven on view. Due to the size and popularity I would recommend booking especially if you're a larger party. For me one of the few eateries in the area that deserve a 5 star rating. Keep up the good work!”

“Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”
