Premier Inn Manchester City (Piccadilly) hotel
● Open“Great place to explore the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Staff are very welcoming on arrival. It's a self service check in system but staff are on hand to assist. Place is very clean throughout with bar and restaurant on site with quite decent prices. Rooms are excellent for the price with shops bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The tram stop is only a 5/10 minute walk if you want to explore surrounding Manchester. There is no parking but there is a car park directly opposite which you pay about £10 per day .”

Premier Inn Manchester Central hotel
● Open“I've stayed at this Premier Inn many times and I have to say, it's a very good spot. The location is great, with McDonald's just around the corner and Chinatown only a 5-minute walk away. Plus, every time we stay here we discover new parts of Manchester that we haven't seen before. It's at the quieter end of Manchester which is always a plus. The hotel is also very close to the train stop, so it's easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety of options available. Overall, I highly recommend this Premier Inn. The location is great, it's at the quieter end of Manchester and it's easy to access other parts of the city. Plus the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable”

Premier Inn Manchester City Centre (Princess Street) hotel
● Open“Its like a big white container sitting on top of the NCP multi story parking...but the oddities stop here. The hotel is amazing, new rooms, clean and quite. The self check-in was great. The parking is ample and located on the 8th floor. Very clean and safe. The hotel stay enables you to get a 24 hr parking for flat rate of 10. The location is very central to the universities.”

The Alan Manchester
● Open“As soon as you enter the venue you are welcomed by a lovely relaxing smell which is throughout the building to the rooms. The staff greeted us and let us store our luggage until check in time. We came back after getting lunch at a spot around the corner, early check in was not available. The room was really big - we booked the standard room - and decor was 10/10. Really chic and industrial. Love that you have a fridge in your room and given nice water and coffee/tea selections. We did not dine in the restaurant unfortunately, however it looked and smelled great with a really chilled atmosphere. The only thing I could suggest to enhance our stay would be if there was a 2nd mirror in the room as it was a struggle for us both to get ready together. Also, the kettle was quite an odd choice for the rest of the room being so well decorated... it was just an old black plastic one (just a small point to make but it didn't effect our stay). Will be back. The location was perfectly handy for getting around the city. Right beside China Town and the Gay Village.”

Premier Inn Manchester Altrincham hotel
● Open“The hotel could do with some updating however there are no real complaints with my stay. Ample room in the car park, the cooked breakfast was made to order with no restrictions on quantities and the staff were beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. Check-in is normally 3pm however I needed the room sooner due to a wedding and they were happy to accommodate us. Would stay again if i needed somewhere to rest after a night out.”

The O.T burger has been recommended and let me tell you those chicken burgers are delicious. The menu looks outstanding. Formidable chicken. Absolutely legendary stuff. Also greeted by very nice staff who are happy to help This is literally a game changer. Fresh, local and tasty. Meals are reasonably priced, box meal with chips and drink for less than £10. Door 34 Coffeehouse & Kitchen
● Closed“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

My wife actually wanted to try some new dish in Vegetables. She ordered "Baba Ganouch Vegetables" (Potatoes, salad, roasted aubergine and humus with Pitta bread) and I ordered "Chicken Shawarma Wrap "with roasted vegetables and fried on the side with chilly sauce. Both items were cooked in front of me and were fresh. We really enjoyed our meal. It's a nice small cafe with good food. At least try it once. I will go again...
