We have gone back since to have a bespoke corset made to measure, and have bought quite a few items of lingerie as well. The quality of everything we have bought is superb, and the fact that all the items sold are hand made in small runs by local businesses makes it more than worthwhile. Both Lynn and Sean are very knowledgeable and approachable, and because of their experience and advice we will go back again and again in future!”

“Can’t recommend Austen & Blake enough. Usually going to jewellers can’t be quite overwhelming and you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get. But they were so organised with bookings and you feel like you get all the attention and help that you need. We were so lucky to have Rosie guide us. She couldn’t have been more welcoming and really made the experience exciting and special. She’s a real asset to the place and a massive part of why we will now return back to Austen & Blake. “Bought my wedding suit from here and would 100% recommend going here for suits for any occasion! Staff was polite and as soon as we arrived we had someone come to us to see if we needed anything. We was then assigned a guy named Steve who picked out the perfect suit first time, he got us all sized up and sent them away for alterations. “Cheap modern and clean set up which was perfect for an overnight stay after going to a gig @ band on the wall ...literally about 100 yards down the road. Nice breakfast by the looks, but didn't partake. Would definitely use again for.the same reason... smack in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester”

“Lovely staff in the cafe. In fact I wouldn’t call it a a cafe. I would call it a cafe I wold call it an restaurafe. The only down side was our drinks ( mine an extra hot cappuccino) was sat waiting for the waitress to take it to me. Therefore, it was cold when it reached our table. We were very close too where they make the coffee. The food was lovely and I was provided with with a bag for the other half of the wrap I couldn’t eat so I could take home. The Butcher’s had an amazing array of meat. The steak beef burgers that I bought were the best that I have ever tasted. The young lad that served me was very knowledgeable too. The staff in the grocery department were brilliant too especially when I asked the lady for ‘a quarter’ of pear drops ( I’m old school at 53) she didn’t bat an eyelid and gave me my (quarter) of sweets. What can I say? 24ct gold service.”

“We loved native. It's architecturally really interesting - really great use of this space. The room was beautiful and a lovely place to come back to. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A couple of things that would have made it even better would have been some drawers to put clothes in and a full length mirror. All in all though we had a really great time and will definitely be back.”
