“I've been to this pub a fair bit but never sampled the roast until last Sunday. We ordered lamb and a vegan roast, and both were the best we have had in our lives. I cannot begin to even describe how tasty this food was. My girlfriend said it was THE best vegan food she's ever had in a restaurant. The staff are also so welcoming and friendly. “This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Went out for dinner last night at Bodega and was absolutly blown away by the quality of the food!! Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wings, Lamb dishes and the Muscles. “We called in last Sunday evening, 13th Sept. No food available (fair enough it was quite late) so the man behind the bar suggested that we go to the excellent Indian over the road to order a take-away. He said they would deliver it to the H and H. That worked well, and the same kind man even brought us plates and cutlery to where we sat outside on that warm evening. We had some drinks and thanked him for his great kindness. It was well beyond what we would have expected from him, unfortunately didn't get his name, and we were sorry not to return there as we were leaving the following morning. What great service!
