"I have been visiting The Big Chap since June 2022, it always has an amazing atmosphere and karaoke every Saturday night. Its a lovely place to meet people and enjoy there company. The bar staff and landlady are lovely, always welcoming and Friendly. Great to talk with and have a conversation. They always have events on and always a good place to go for a quiet drink. Had a live singer on last time we visited and she was amazing, absolutely funny and awesome. Full of joy and happiness that spread around the room. Credits to the staff and team. "We had a ladies trebles tournament at the pub on Thursday 17th March. There must have been about 50 women along with usual customers. So possibly 60/70 customers and 1 person on the bar. The poor barmaid was run ragged with people having to wait over 30min to be served. The landlady came down, and went straight back upstairs without helping her. Absolutely disgusting from an employer. Never have a function or a large gathering here !"
