“We've been having an electrical problem with our Ford C-Max for the last few weeks, so I called in at MHB Auto Spares this afternoon to ask if they could take a look at the battery and alternator for me. Without hesitation, they popped the bonnet and ran a free check on the battery - it needed a new one. It's quite complex to change the battery on a C-Max, as parts of the engine need removing in order to swap out the battery. Just 20 minutes later, a new battery was fitted, complete with a 12 month warranty at an AMAZING price - even cheaper than I could have bought the battery for online! I have used MHB many times over their 35 years in business, and will continue to do so. Another great job well done, and so fast - thanks so much!”

They corrected a bad paint job from a chain accident repair centre in Audenshaw that resulted in a two-tone effect between rear bumper and main body. “Great mechanic , told him how much I’d been quoted by another place and he called out for free to check the car and gave me a way cheaper quote and told me some of the stuff on the previous quote didn’t need to be done - sent me a link to a tyre place that cost me way less than my previous quote - he fixed the breaks and pads and disks on the car outside the house for a decent price and even let my little lad think he was helping him - and I’ve booked him back in for a service . “My rear window wiper fell off / someone stole it. I had bought two separate vipers to try and replace myself but no matter what I did it wasn’t working. I asked family to help me with it who couldn’t do it because the bolts were all rusted. I brought my car in and the kind gentleman started repairing it straight away. He spent nearly 30 minutes happily and kindly repairing it because the viper and bolt was directly attached to the glass of my car and was all rusted so it needed to be done gently. In the end, he replaced it successfully and he didn’t even charge me for this. He fixed my car whilst I had parked it outside in the rain so I am extremely grateful for the help on such short notice and would’ve been happy to pay for this service. Thus, I am leaving a fitting five star review. Lovely garage with even lovelier people in it. Thank you”
