“I had a wonderful evening at a performance of 'Dad's Army'. The entire thing was highly professional - the costumes were wonderful, sets elaborate and detailed, and the acting was excellent. They even coped very well with one of their actors being taken ill before the performance - the show must go on, I guess!”

“My husband and I went to watch Hindle Wakes earlier tonight, and it was brilliant. :) Theatre is comfortable, the set was amazing and the bar and staff was great, (so much so, that we've already booked the next play.) “I enjoyed Romeo and Juliet last night. All actors were a pleasure to watch. It had a really nice twist including the two local football teams. The actors played their rolls very convincingly. The stage, props and costumes were very simple but effect. It began with audience participation. There was a part were the actor faked kicking a football at the audience, that was hilarious. To all well done!”

“Really nice local theatre. Parking is available but spaces are limited, there is parking however around the theatre within walking distance. A bar and tea and coffee is available and they do have wheelchair access. Very entertaining shows and ran by dedicated volunteers. Proud to have this little gem in our town.”

“Lovely little theatre within the Lowry. The theatre is smaller than the Lyric Theatre and has its own bar and toilets. I've sat in a variety of different seats and all had good views and were comfortable.”

“This is a beautiful theatre and I am really glad there are still theatres like this. The staff are wonderful. The house band are absolutely next level, and the band members take the time out to chat with you and make jokes. The music and composition is absolutely perfect. I saw the Full Monty most recently, and it was absolutely fantastic. The music stood shoulders above the performances and the play itself 11/10!! It was a pleasurable experience overall in terms of the theatre and experience overall. I would definitely travel out of my way to see a play here again.”
