The teacher's understanding and knowledge around trauma and how to safely support someone through Trauma Informed Yoga in their healing is outstanding. The course is set up with a perfect blend of self-enquiry and reflection, practical sessions and theory. I particularly liked the triad work in-between sessions as it gives us a chance to apply what we've learned as well as direct feedback from the other students. Thanks to all teachers for a very valuable course and their compassion and support throughout the course. I will take what I've learned not just into my TIY sessions but all my modalities. “I came to see Pam when struggling to sleep, during a very stressful period. Pam explained to me how the body reacts to stress and why this can affect sleep. She then taught me to relax and switch off, and taught me not to try and go to sleep - instead just to let go and relax.
