Mr Jay Goswamy FRCS
● Closed“My 12 year old son had an operation performed by Mr Goswamy a month ago. He was brilliant with him and answered any questions he had. He took the time to explain everything about the procedure to us both and ensured that we were fully informed at every stage. The scar is so neat and barely noticeable already. He has done an amazing job and I would highly recommend him. His secretary Aimee was able to answer any queries I had whenever I contacted her and was very helpful. The staff at Spire Manchester looked after us very well on the day of the operation and that helped us feel reassured and calm.”

Manchester Urology
● Closed“Awesome experience! I was suffering from ED and Azoospermia since last 2 years. I met several urologists/andrologists and they had conflicting views about the actual reason behind it. I never felt confident to get treatment from them. Finally, I met Dr. Vaibhav Modgil and he explained to me clearly the reason behind the problem and how he can help us in planning a baby. He performed a surgical sperm retrieval (micro-TESE) for me and recovered a good amount of sperm for my wife's IVF/ICSI. I was also suffering from prepetual adhesions for which he performed a minor procedure to divide them and make them normal too. His confidence and patient-friendly approach made us feel overwhelmed. We are highly grateful to him. Lot of respect for him. Thank you very much doctor! :)”

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust
● Open“My first time experience of Christie’s hospital :) Unfortunately found out I have stage 4 cancer just before Christmas. I’ve not been tolerating the pain well in my spine and one night the pain was so bad my excellent Macmillen nurse was really worried about me just incase I had spinal cord compression and she got me a bed in Christie hospital on an acute ward. Christie’s hospital worked on relieving that pain and making checks so fast, I was so greatfull to the team there that night for their fast past and understanding. Think I woke up a couple of patients as one said “can you keep the noise down” and the other one said “please close my curtains”….. sorry guys :) I was then transferred in the morning to ward 11 bed 13 the next day. Im not going to lie due to having a renal problems most my life I get pretty anxious about hospitals and stay overs. More so in a hospital I’ve never been too. What can I say porters nice friendly. Masks worn. The ward was so clean the cleaning staff work really hard as did the nurses in fact all staff really nice and friendly. I would like to say a special thank you to Yvonne she went above and beyond when I was feeling pretty low about things and a liver biopsy was about to get cancelled for the second time. She addressed the matter so kindly and with understanding and really it’s down to her I’m sure the biopsy got done that day so thank you Yvonne. Again though once that situation got addressed the team that did the procedure were fantastic. I also received Radiotherapy that evening on my spine to try and help with the pain. Been mine first time receiving radio therapy I had a bit of a cry, I think with it been such a long day and a rollercoaster of emotions i shouldn’t be ashamed about it. The radiotherapy girls came out and spoke to me, went though everything with me let me ask questions with regards to my kidney transplant been as safe as possible too. They were just great! Both teams I met down there were excellent, professional and also caring. While I’m using the words caring i would like to say ward 11 has a very special nurse on there called Ellie. She’s a real gem! a true asset to ward 11 and the NHS. Thank you guys and I do sincerely appreciate everything you all did for me to get me on my feet and home :) I now have a blood and clinic appointment on Wednesday so by no means is it all over but with the experience and care I received this past week I have no doubt I’m in the best hands.,”

Manchester Thyroid Centre
● Closed170 Barlow Moor Road, Manchester M20 2AF, United Kingdom“Whilst I had an initial consultation for a sore throat, I ended up having a half thyroidectomy to remove a sizeable lump that I had no idea was there. The investigation was done in one session, quickly and efficiently, with a swift follow on, resulting in minimal concern. The operation went smoothly, with an almost immediate recovery and hardly any evidence anything had happened. I am delighted with the knowledge, communications, empathy and practicality I have received. Information sharing was pertinent and timely, meaning decisions were easy. Definitely a "safe pair of hands", with an added dose of humour. Highly recommended.”

Healey Surgery
● Closed“I had a positive experience every time I contacted the surgery. If you take in consideration the state of the entire NHS organisation, will probably understand why surgeries are so busy sometimes and the fact you will not get a face to face appointment every time you need one.”
