“Visited this club for the first time last week with my husband, since its reopening. The new owners have worked really hard to make this a new experience, and it has completely been refurbished to a high standard. My husband and I enjoyed our evening there with friends old and new and will most definitely be returning! Thanks to the new team who looked after us :-) xx”

“I went with my sales team from work (14 in group) , a mixed group of race, ages backgrounds and were looked after by the excellent bar and security staff. Had no trouble during or at kicking out. Well done to management and all staff had a great night and felt catered for and looked after. I would suggest to do vip package.”

“Stayed at Hotel Gotham for offsite workshop. A beautiful hotel w nice character to it. Used the bar (CLUB BRASS) almost every evening during my stay. Seems like the bar is Open to members and Gotham guests only, it is on the 7th floor. It is a cool and quirky bar and must be one of the best lounge bar in Manchester! Great cocktails n decent collection of whiskies. Beautiful city view from their roof garden. Smokey old fashion whisky was awesome!”

“I had a wonderful evening at a performance of 'Dad's Army'. The entire thing was highly professional - the costumes were wonderful, sets elaborate and detailed, and the acting was excellent. They even coped very well with one of their actors being taken ill before the performance - the show must go on, I guess!”

“Great place to have a couple of drinks and play pool/snooker. They often show football games too. Definitely worth getting a membership if you go there a couple of times as you get this discounts am a number of things. Prices are for and the food offered is good quality too. “Really love this social club. Tonight 10th November 2021 The Tony Greenwood 16 piece Show Band, entrance £3 per person. Where else can you get that kind of entertainment, which includes one singer as well as dancing. Fabulous night. This takes place the second Wednesday of every month. This club has many other nights of fun including Rock and Roll last friday of every month. Always something on every saturday and sunday.”

“Nice vibe, drinks are decently cheap for manchester but this is to be expected from a more underground venue. I managed to loose my phone twice and it was returned TWICE so thankyou so much to the lovley people attending the event. It was a Drum and Bass event which is typically very bass heavy music so the only fault I have is that maybe for these kind of genres they could get a couple more bigger subwoofers I just couldnt help but feel like there needed to be more bass! Sick venue tho will be going again in future if any more drum and bass events happen.”

“Great place to meet. Away from everything else next to the barge boats on the side if the canal and next to the Lime kilns. Has a function room for hire, pool table, snooker table and darts.”

“Friendly staff, plenty of slots for camping. Toilet and shower facilities were good and looked fairly recently refurbished. Only downside was that the road noise is extremely loud if you get placed at the bottom of the campsite, I’m sure it’s fine if you’re in a caravan but if you’re in a tent you’ll definitely hear it. Overall good experience and it’s well located for hikers and backpackers.”

“I came here for my hen do last night and had a fantastic night. The food is fabulous, lost of delicious and authentic dishes and excellent value for money. The entertainment is fabulous and I broke my shoe while dancing around the room. They waiter even fixed it up for me before we left. His sense of humour was also great as he joined in with our hen do activities at times. Would highly reccomend.”
