Indiantown Island Preserve
● OpenIndiantown Island Preserve, located in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, is a part of the Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving the natural habitat, scenic beauty, and working land of the Boothbay region. With over 30 miles of hiking trails, visitors can explore meadows, forests, wetlands, and scenic vistas free of charge. At the visitor center at Oak Point Farm, guests can learn more about BRLT, obtain maps, purchase merchandise, and sign up for educational programs. The preserve features a variety of habitats, including woodlands, wetlands, salt marshes, islands, and seabird and wading bird habitat. Historical and archaeological sites can also be found throughout the preserve.
