Pettengill Farm is a historic institution located at 31 Pettengill Road in Freeport, Maine, United States. This museum and park offers visitors the opportunity to explore gardens, fields, and four forest trails that are open to the public from dawn to dusk year-round. Visitors can download a self-guided tour and trail map from their website. To reach Pettengill Farm, visitors can turn east on Bow Street from Main Street in Freeport, across from the L.L. Bean main entrance, and travel 1.5 miles before turning right onto Pettengill Road. Parking is available at the gate, where visitors can walk along a dirt road for about 15 minutes to reach the farmhouse.
