The Cancer Care Center at Central Maine Medical Center: Infusion Care is a state-of-the-art facility located at 17 High Street in Lewiston, Maine, United States. This new two-story, 52,000-square-foot center houses the Central Maine Cancer Institute, providing multi-specialty, team-based care for cancer patients. The facility features new equipment, including advanced linear accelerators critical for radiation therapy. Construction on this $33.2 million project was completed in 2021, and the center is now open to patients from all over Central Maine. The center was designed to provide accessible, centralized care so patients do not have to travel to different parts of the hospital campus for treatment. Inspired by the landscape of Lewiston, the center incorporates elements of the region's heritage and features a design concept based on DNA research and its relation to cancer care.
