● OpenThe International Rice Festival, located at 303 North Parkerson Avenue in Crowley, Louisiana, is the oldest and largest agricultural festival in the state. The 87th festival, taking place from October 17th to October 20th in downtown Crowley, has selected Joshua Spell as President to lead the 2024 festivities. Joshua, a Crowley native, has been involved with the festival for over 30 years and is passionate about celebrating the importance of rice in Louisiana's culture. As the head chef at Fezzo's Seafood, Steakhouse, and Oyster Bar for 25 years, Joshua has played a key role in the restaurant's success and growth. He is also a member of The American Culinary Federation and the Louisiana Restaurant Association. Joshua's dedication to the Rice Festival is evident through his involvement in various committees and roles within the organization.
