"Room was not ready, drove 3 1/2 hours and was switched 3 different cabins. Room was 57 degrees, non working heater. Left and received refund. Gas and time waisted. And trip. Staff was nice , but waist of a trip. Old and needs update on cabins.."

"Me and a few ladies stayed last minute for a ladies night. First time at this place and we really enjoyed our stay! The view from the back porch looking at the lake was breathtaking! The owner she was very sweet, nice and so friendly from making our reservation the night before until check out time."

"Any vacation is what you make of it….our family has not had an opportunity for all of us to be together in quite a while due to covid. That’s really what we wanted out of the weekend. The female staff member who manages reservations and on-site is awesome! We rented 5 cabins….they were all clean, but each had different amenities. Our cabin was the largest #55 and is where we all gathered and cooked. There are very few pots, pans, bowls, essential cooking utensils, coffee cups, glasses, etc. We were able to borrow from the other 4 cabins and went to Walmart and bought the other things we needed, which was not too far away. The AC in the main level of the cabins was awesome, but the loft level beds are too hot for anyone to sleep comfortably. Every cabin had different types and sizes of refrigerators, stoves and microwaves, so you may want to ask when reserving if that makes a difference in choice of cabins. Our cabins were literally clustered together so it was like we rented a little community, which was super nice for a large family renting multiples. The lake was easily accessible and we were also able to fish with the kids along the shoreline. The pool is a little green, could use some attention and is small for a large group, but the kids enjoyed it anyway. Overall, the property is clean and quiet, no animals running loose. It is also pet friendly for a reasonable fee for those in our family wanting to bring their pets. The rental rates for the cabins really should be a bit lower, but they’re affordable. So, if you’re looking for upscale cabin living, maybe this isn’t the place to rent, but if you’re wanting quality time with family in a comfortable, safe, clean environment with only one dust pan out of 5 cabins (LOL), this is an ideal spot. I gave 4 stars because we made the most of it, and were able to spend some fun time together that is hard to come by, especially over the last couple of tough years!"

"If I could give this place no stars I would. My brother and sister in law were having their wedding this past weekend. When they arrived to cabin 38(the bunkhouse) they encountered several issues during their stay. First of all, one bathroom for 24 people was an absolute nightmare. That should have been fixed before or during their stay. It was booked 5 months in advance so they knew they were coming and failed to make sure all the bathrooms were working. MOST IMPORTANTLY THE BRIDE NEARLY FELL TO HER DEATH ON THEIR BALCONY. She walked out to enjoy her view and take pictures when out of no where she fell right through one of the boards and had her leg stuck. By the grace of God she was not harmed but that almost ruined their entire wedding. There were other issues they encountered but not worth mentioning on Google bc they were minor but those cabins are too old amd either need to be remodeled or torn down."
