"Very nice park. We stayed 5 days. Very clean. Stayed in site 104. Signage from highway 25 hard to see. Google maps sends you to the wrong entrance. Would definitely like to come back for an extended time pediod."
"We stayed the week after Thanksgiving 2023. We really enjoyed our stay. The park was beautiful and very well maintained. It was very quiet during our stay. Our camp site was wonderful with the exception of the location of the fire pit. It was not level, therefore we could not sit around the fire. There was plenty of firewood available in the park that we were able to gather for our fires. We love to build fires when we camp, so that is why I gave it 4 stars. We will definitely go back."
"We ran the five mile trail at the park this morning, and it was beautiful! The park ranger was friendly, and the office and bathroom were spotless. Great trail system, but I'm not sure the mileage markers are spot on. My watch indicated that I had run farther than the mile markers."
"The bottom land camp sites are nicely spaced out, good and shady for tent campers, lots of woods to search for downed logs for fire. Waterfront sites on ponds, some sites back up to river outlets, the kids and dogs loved this. Careful though, we did see alligators. There is tubing available on the river, we didn't get to do this, it was not open for the season yet. The splash park was nice, but the kids said the slide was rubbing their back ends while sliding (uncomfortable). Plenty of fishing spots, the ponds were stocked with big catfish for a fishing event while we were there."
