"I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews written for Mr. Ernest. Most of the negative reviews are very old, and I assume since then he has hired more office staff. I’m always able to reach his office and email response is very quick. I’ve been filing with Mr. Kelly since 2017 and he has always worked his magic to get me a nice return despite having no dependents, joint file, and an above average income. I filed with someone else for one year in the interim (sorry Ernest) and it was a mess. Yes, his prices to file are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend his business, as do my other friends who currently file with Mr. Ernest (and have filed with him for years) that have well over 6 figure salaries"

"My business have been dealing with Mr Kelly since 1999. He is very professional. We have never had a problem. And anytime I needed documents, they were readily available. Yes, it’s expensive, but in crisis, it’s worth every penny. After evacuating for any hurricane, I’m confident in knowing that my docs are secure and accessible. He’s very knowledgeable about all of the tax laws. Great staff. I would refer him."

"Filed for 2014-2016 and got back a tremendous amount but paid him $1,200+ to file. Should’ve realized then he waits to see how much you make to decide what he will charge you for the joke of a meeting you have with him. Then 2017 rolls on and I’m contacted by the Dept. of Revenue and the IRS. He filed my taxes wrong and now ironically we can’t get in touch or a hold of anyone. Won’t answer the phone, won’t email back, won’t see you if you show up in the office even if you live 2+ hours away. Now I’m dealing with $4,900 I owe the state of MS. This place is a joke and only care about getting your money and getting you out."

"This company is a scam. The prices they charge are outrageous especially for what you receive back. I paid around $350.00 for a 30 minute appointment. I needed a copy of my statement and they asked for $50.00 to EMAIL a copy to me!!! pitiful company- I DO NOT reccomend"

"Ernest's office came highly recommended to me by long term clients due to a complicated work situation. My experience, however, has been very dismal. I was looking for a 3 year refile. I send my documents in to one of their tax preparer's May 17. I sent a follow up email asking if they had a chance to review my files June 2 - still got no reply. My referral ended up near the office and talked to the owner, Ernest, who informed them that I needed to call in and talk to Ernest directly. We called, but only ever got associates. We finally got a response from their office July 23. We sent in the additional docs they requested on July 25. From then on, it was a one way street, with us calling or emailing every few weeks to check progress but never getting return calls or emails. We finally got a hold of them in early September, when we were told they had other high priority clients and they would get to us next. We received our refile mid September. We then tried to discuss with Ernest the cost. We knew it wasnt cheap, but after it taking 5 months to return our taxes and virtually zero communication, we thought the total cost was quite high. We were hoping for a long term tax person, but will definitely not use his firm in the future. Dont count on them if you have a deadline."
