"Warning - if you bring your clothes to Russell’s, they will not stand behind their work. Been going to this place for years. They’re a bit expensive but I always thought that meant higher quality work that they would stand behind. Last week I picked up my suit and the vinyl elbow pads were completely ruined. They didn’t even bother to tell me - I found the damage when I got home and then noticed they noted it on the receipt. When I went back to ask about the damage and repair/compensation, I was told that they followed the garment label (dry clean only) and so they’re not responsible for any damage. That’s it?! So if your actions result in damage to a garment, you’re not responsible because you “followed the tag”? And who decides that you actually “followed the tag” and didn’t make a mistake? Oh, you decide? That’s great."
