"I wish I could leave a 0 or put negative star!!! This hospital treats fathers like we are second class citizens! I have to get permission from the mother to see my own child, change her, have my own mother visit, make hospital decisions and make visitation changes. This whole state has jacked up laws, but I've never had a hospital disrespect me to the point I need to threaten a lawsuit to get them to change the formulas for my child in the NICU. A simple change to lactose free milk. They refused to listen and when they finally did, magically she gets better. The nurses here (most) have a superiority complex, and the doctors do not care. Please take your family to ANY OTHER HOSPITAL. I would continue to rant but I'm limited. I will be taking legal action."

"This hospital is great. The doctor sat down and did an assessment on me to find out what exactly was going on with me. After 5 trips to different hospitals including clinics. This hospital this morning was able to help me. I feel so much better now. Hands down to this hospital."

"My daughter had her first baby during the Thanksgiving holiday. The care that she received was amazing from the time she was admitted until she was sent to a room on the postpartum unit. Her night nurse the first night Jennifer was the WORST! She was on the unit the second night she was there and was not her nurse but went into her room and was rude about a miscommunication and made my daughter cry. NOT the kind of nurse you want taking care of you when you are a first time mom that just had an unexpected c section and is trying to master the art of pumping. RUDE. Unprofessional and definitely uncalled for."

"My 5 year old came in the emergency department at 6:00 PM on 16 November 2023. We were seen in triage almost immediately then we were sent back to the lobby where we waited for 10 hours for a room to be available in the emergency department by the time they got my daughter back there it was almost 5 o’clock in the morning and her platelets level had dropped down to two her fever was 102.7. The room we were put in had ants all over so we got ate up by ants the whole time overall experience was horrible the nurses in the back were very nice and respectful but the front emergency room staff was not I have never had any bad experience with this hospital besides this one time"

"This hospital ER is the absolute worst!!! I wish I could have gotten the nurse’s name before I left because she has ZERO bedside manners. We waited for almost an hour and no one came to examine my child or seemed too concerned about his well-being. The only thing he received was an X-ray and the results from that took forever to come that we never got them because we left due to Nurse Rudeness because I asked what was taking so long and her response was very short and her tone was as if I was getting on her nerves. Passed by the nurses station and everybody is just sitting there doing nothing! So, if they weren’t going to be serious about my son, we will go somewhere else where the doctors and nurses actually care. 0 stars, don’t recommend. Worse hospital in Lafayette."
