They have great fun, learn important skills like discipline and make their granparents happy by practising their dance move in front of them. End of year shows are a great day out for the whole family. I love how their teacher Michelle can be very nice but firm when they misbehave. Highly recommended as an after school activity”

The Bridge Theatre Training Company
● Closed“I graudated from The Bridge in 2022 and I miss it so much! The training allowed me to develop skills I already had and helped me discover new ones, and I gained so much confidence from all the support that surrounds you there - from the staff and your classmates. From the moment I stepped through the door on the first day to the end of the last day, I enjoyed every minute. You're also part of the company forever so you aren't just sent off into the industry alone once you leave. Five stars!”

He completely fell in love with the million dreams song from the greatest showman once they taught that song to him. He dances well and by nature he loves doing performances. He loves rocking his yellow stagecoach shirt. I would highly recommend this to any kid who is interested in arts. A nice way to motivate, encourage and nurture their talent.”

Starmaker Performing Arts
● Closed“It’s the best part of our week and my daughter who’s nearly 3 has been attending since just before her 2nd birthday. It’s interactive, a lot of fun and the teachers Georgina and Lauren are always friendly and accommodating. We get to bring a teddy or dolly every week and they love rocking them goodnight at the end of the class, most importantly they always get a “well done” sticker. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone with a child who wants to do ballet / dance.”

Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools Head Office
● Closed“When my 9 year old started nursery at 18 months she had really bad attachment issues. The nursery suggested at that as soon as she was old enough I needed to put her into a drama/theatre school, to boost her confidence. When she turned 3 we put her into Jigsaw. We picked Jigsaw as the nursery said, this was a good choice and Jigsaw was cheaper than their key competitor, but I was told they were better, especially with regards to pastoral care. For me the primary advantage was I got 60 minutes to whizz round doing chores, with no-one hanging on to skirt, secondary to that was she spent an hour singing, dancing and acting which she loved. She has now been doing this for 6 years, she is queen of karaoke, reads at church, is confident both off and on the stage, and now I get 3 hours on a Saturday to work. For me it is win-win all round. My daughter asked us some time ago if she could go to boarding school once she turned 11. As difficult as this was, we agreed that we would do whatever was best for her. Just the other day she came to us and said, “if I go to a boarding school I will miss Jigsaw, can I stay at home”.. I took a deep breath and said, we will stand by you and do whatever is best for you darling. With eyes up cast, I said, thank you Jigsaw. You have done so much for us over the years, roll on Jigsaw till my little one turns 17.”

Sue, who runs it, is a mother and understands the challenges from both a parent and child perspective. My child who has struggled in the school environment has found her home here through the patience and support of Sue, the staff and the other children. This Academy is a wonderful example of what good looks like from a community perspective but also has all the professionalism to make it world class as the growing Alumni list shows. A solid investment for your child and their future.”
