“Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. “Hidden gem! Great variety of dishes, they can adjust the spice level to taste. Chairs are super comfy, perfect atmosphere for a date night. We’ve ordered a meat combo - just watch out because if you do, you don’t choose the combination. We accidentally ordered more dishes thinking they were included, but they weren’t. In the end we got a discount and delicious leftovers, so overall still a great experience! Will definitely be back.”

It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. We wanted to go and check it out and we weren't disappointed. Food is excellent, really tasty and well presented. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are so friendly and attentive. A couple of minor downsides are there's only one toilet per male and one per female which can get busy. A little tight with regards to seating but it's not the worst we've experienced. Although in the warmer months there is an outside seating area. Highly recommended for a great night of food and drinks. Will certainly return.”

“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”

The last time I heard a restaurant had the best something in London, I was unfortunately disappointed. Nonetheless, I wished this time there would be a glimmer of hope and that it would be different. They were very well seasoned, the coating was crispy, and the chicken breast was cooked really well. The nuggets were accompanied with their blue cheese and buffalo sauce, which I wasn’t really a fan of. For a total of £7 they do give you a considerable amount of them—especially given that they’re only a side. I was a bit unsure about the seasoning of the nuggets, but ultimately, I enjoyed them. 6.7/10 Miso bacon burger It’s time for the main event: the burger. Now although the Miso bacon burger wasn’t their signature one, I had read the description and was more intrigued to try it. It was £12 for a single burger, but if you have the money for it I would advise you to double up. The patty was incredibly juicy, the sauce inside was very nice, and the onions were a great touch. The seeded bun was a good move for the sturdiness of it all, especially in the top one. The bottom bun, however, wasn’t a match for the miso sauce; it left it slightly soggy—though that wasn’t enough to detract from the positives of the burger. “I found this amazing Thai restaurant on Google during my short stay in London. My go-to is green curry with chicken, and most places just can’t seem to get it right. Thai O’CHA hit the mark. They made it Thai hot, just the way I like it, and I was more than satisfied. The owner personally chatted with me and treated me with hospitality I have never experienced before. My family are from Corfu, Greece and I spent a lot of time there. The authentic flavours reminded me of being back! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean (covid friendly). Plenty of Mediterranean food choices along with lovely wine & cocktails. We had complimentary pitta bread & tzatziki, grilled prawns with garlic, whole sea-bass and fillet of sea-bass!
