“We loved our night @thedrivein. The staff were really helpful, finding us a parking space where we could see well and I really appreciated the choice of venue overlooking the sea! The snacks were pricey but I suppose that's to be expected and we did have a bit of an issue with our car battery and had to turn our engine on for the last ten minutes of the film or risk having a flat battery. If the staff had enforced the engines always off rule we would have missed the last bit of the film. The whole experience was great and well organised and it felt very safe with regular cleaning of the portaloos - which were spotless. Will definitely come again.”

The waiter service was really good, especially Emon, who was very friendly and top for customer service and it was a very busy restaurant. Seen celebs there as well. Good selection on the menu, managed to find a parking space on Sunday, outside seating is also available. Would definitely go back again.”

“A hidden gem, from the outside it looks like a kebab shop, once inside the food is amazing and staff are friendly. The lights are amazing takes me back to the middle east or Turkey in this case. The tea was also spot on, really refreshing. Kids loved it as well. 2 under 10's and 3 adults, one platter zara special, one yoghurt adnana, humus, bread, chips with cheese, drinks and tea £67. “I've been going to Twickenham Tandoori with friends and family for more than 10 years now. The food is reliably excellent, the atmosphere is typically buzzing. This is where people want to go on a Friday night after they've been for a few drinks further up Church Street. In summertime you can dine in the picturesque street outside, in wintertime you're cosy indoors. Well served by excellent staff. I will keep going to this place as long as its doors remain open. It is fantastic and I love it. I'm most certainly not alone.”

The turnip cake was a bit floury but still passable. Get a rice / noodle dish if you are really hungry and don’t want to order so much dim sum. Also had good experiences at the Canary Wharf location. Royal China has so far been a good Chinese restaurant chain in London. Definitely a go-to when craving and in the area.”
