From design to build was all coordinated by Will, who was courteous, thoughtful and always took the time to explain and respond to all correspondence even after the kitchen was completed. I made last minute changes and this was never an issue. The team used for the build were great. Everything ran to time. I have a small house and a small kitchen, I didn't have to store anything here as it was coordinated and delivered for after the old kitchen was ripped out. George who was the carpenter pays attention to detail and has come by to fix little things that weren't working for me, like how a cabinet door opens/closes. The kitchen is lovely. It cost more than the other kitchens I looked at, but it was worth it for the finish, quality and absolute ease of working with Will at Schmidt and the team he's picked to do the job.”

“It goes without saying that our kitchen is well designed and exquisitely made and the end product more than met our expectations. Its design and finish are one of the first things that visitors to our home always remark upon. Phil and Gary are at every stage of the design and installation process making sure even the smallest detail is considered and discussed. We were invited to visit the workshop whilst the kitchen was in manufacture to have additional input into the final design and finishes. Aftercare is also exceptional, with Phil or Gary immediately addressing any small adjustments with Jez completing the remedial work onsite with patience and attention to detail. We considered a number of local bespoke kitchen manufacturers as part of our project planning. However, we were very fortunate to have happened upon Oliver James, during our kitchen project research. The initial meeting with Phil when he invited us to the workshop to see the company at work pretty much convinced us on making a decision as to who to commission the work to. We would have no hesitation in recommending Oliver James’ workmanship or the team’s furniture making skills and we would definitely use them again for other projects.”

“We undertook a large renovation of our home and based on recommendations of friends we approached InHouse Designs. Based on prior experience with other similar companies we were a bit hesitant, but there was no need to be. We provided a brief of what was needed which was basically a new kitchen, utility room, 2 ensuites and family bathroom. We wanted to budget in certain areas and spend more in others, the vast selection of products caters for this really well. The team were excellent, put together some great design proposals with practical considerations that were not highlighted by previous companies we had visited. A very competitive price was given especially combining the tiles. We placed our order and over the period of the renovation build, inhouse design were excellent keeping me updated on the progress of my order and working around the renovation project schedule which was not going to plan!.
