We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. In fact we have booked again with Sybil today for the bank holiday weekend to go back as it is my wife’s birthday . We highly recommend this super restaurant. Thank you Sybil and team Ian & sharon”

“When I first came here, it was just for a gyros wrap. I did it just because of the student discount. Now it’s my 20’th time, or even more, can’t remember. I’ve been here for a few nice dinners with my girlfriend, few times took a take away, few times went alone. I always got what I wanted, and the price was always right. The crew is friendly and great, after a few visits we started to get into a nice small talk. Now it feels just natural and right to come by on the weekend, or when I don’t have time to cook myself. Definitely my top 1 place in London. Would recommend to anyone. You must try Mythos beer. As food of choice I’d go for Mousaka or Gyros Pita Wrap.”

“We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”

“Absolutely fantastic experience! After going to many different Turkish restaurants in London I can genuinely say this place served the best mixed grill I’ve ever had! Food was delicious, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly, and the restaurant itself was gorgeous in design - perfect for all the instagram users out there. “This place is a hidden gem. The decoration was lovely and it was super clean. From the moment we walked in, the waiter made us feel extremely welcome and was very friendly and attentive all throughout. The food was very delicious. Other places over spice everything but not here it's a perfect mix of ingredients and let's you taste the meat and vegetables... I ate so much but did not feel the slightest bit of bloatedness that I normally have after a heavy meal.. and the lovely waitress was wonderful and so attentive.. excellent customer service by farctge best service on the whole of Green Lanes if not all of North London!”

“Came here Friday night with my partner, and can definitely say we will be returning! The people running the place were very friendly! Happy to answer any questions, Providing great food and great service! We ordered the lamb Tantuni, Yogurtlu tantuni and the Manti. The lamb Tantuni was a favourite so ended up ordering 2 more and the yogurtlu Tantuni was my partners favourite. Finishing off we had the Kunefe with ice cream which was crispy, buttery and delicious!”

“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

The weekend special biryanis are among the best I’ve tried in London, and a bargain at £5 to take away. The freshly made naan at a mere 70p is nothing to be sniffed at too.
