“Unavu kitchen catered few of our family events since last year. The food was authentic and delicious. Recently, we were pleased to have unavu kitchen on my husband's bday party. All our guests were enjoyed the freshly made hoppers and kottu rotti. Their service was excellent and staffs were very friendly. We will definitely hire unavu kitchen for more events in the future.”

“This is my third time ordering from Peng Kitchen and every time the food has been exceptional. I look out for consistency when ordering food and so far I can say it has been delicious each time. I’ve ordered a variety of food such as the Mac and cheese, vegan platter, fish cakes (my fave) and the plantain. They were all flavoured well and the platter is well worth your money - even had leftovers each time. My friend ordered the jerk chicken and said that it was moist and well seasoned - which is exactly what you want from jerk chicken. Thank you for the delicious food and looking forward to trying new things when I order next! The staff are also really friendly and the packaging is great which is always handy when ordering a large amount of food. Tried the homemade sorrel as well - and woiii brought me back to my island!!”

“Having lived in China for almost a decade, and been in London for 5 years, I've missed Uyghur cuisine. Needless to say, I'm absolutely delighted to have been introduced to this place by a friend. The portions were generous, and the chicken with "naan" was an off the menu item and a must have. Reservation is a must as its a smaller restaurant and fill up quickly. The owners came out to greet us and they're really lovely too. Will definitely be back for authentic Uyghur cuisine.”

“Great food and bubble tea. The Shan Shui dumplings were a delight, they have different coloured skins, for example the pink colour from beetroot juice. Tempting spin on eggs Benedict, which comes with roast duck. They carefully asked about allergies which was a good sign they cared. They were a little understaffed so weren't able to open the section with the view, other that the food and service was great, it will be my go to place at Terminal 2!”

Prices are a little higher than the average take away service but for the restaraunt experience its reasonable. I will certainly visit again soon!”

“So tried this takeaway for the 1st time today, firstly i have to say, what a lovely lady i spoke to on the phone, she took my order and was friendly and polite and patient with me as i was unsure about a few of the items i was ordering. My food was delivered by a friendly and polite driver tpo. Our food came piping hot, i thought i had ordered something wrong so i called up again and the lady at the other end explained to me politely what my meals were and how they should look and i have to say the food was lovely, the service lovely and the friendliness of the lady taking the order to the driver was just such a nice experience. I shall certainly be ordering again and highly recommend this take away”

“Long-standing institution and family-run business that manages to do remarkably well despite the challenges of Covid and supply chain issues. Alex and Robert are always exceedingly hospitable and friendly. The menu offers traditional Cantonese fare and the seafood is the main attraction with the lobster noodles worth travelling across the globe for as evidenced by their international clientele. Our favourites include the sesame prawn toast, the Mandarin (京都) ribs and are always a hit with the children. The interior is well-decorated and clean, there was a buzzy atmosphere for the Lunar New Year and staff are always efficient. We certainly intend to return as much as we can and have eaten here on many happy occasions.”

“Best Chinese takeaway/delivery in Chelsea I am oriental and have tried so many Chinese takeaway/deliveries in Chelsea or surrounding areas for years, but I couldn’t find the one I really liked until last night. My points of choices for takeaway Chinese are 1) reasonable price (it has to be takeaway price not restaurant one) 2) food qualities and quantities are matching to the prices 3) tasty - no point eating cheap and bad food 4) reliability and honesty 5) good ingredients - no cheap substitutions 6) delivery without relying on food delivery companies (this is optional but I prefer food delivered by themselves) 7) good communications. I found very hard to find the one which filled all the boxes, especially if they deliver. Oriental Kitchen Express got all the ticks! We ordered Vegetable Hot and Sour soup (very tasty but my husband thought a little low in umami - since it’s vegetarian, it might be. If there’s a meat version, I would have chosen it but only seafood and vegetarian ones were available. I found it still yummy. Good flavor and balance of chili & sourness was very good) Crispy squid with chili (much better than my expectation. Often this dish by takeaway is rubbery and no flavor with too much salt to hide the cheap ingredients) Beef slice with mixed veggies with crispy noodles (noodles were still crispy and beef was tender and mix veggies were really mix veggies including straw mushrooms - often cheaper substitutions), Kanpo chicken with egg fried rice - this is their version of kanpo chicken and if you are thinking of Sichuan dry kanpo chicken, don’t order it. It’s more like chicken sweet and sour but it is yummy. It contains water chestnuts and tenderly deep fried chicken and crunchy water chestnuts combo is a very good harmony. They are in business for 27 years and are proud of their food and service. They proved it to us last night. We are very happy with them. It was a recommendation of my oriental friend and it will go to my friends with words of mouth. Hope they continue keeping their standards!!”
