“I used to do muai thai kickboxing many years ago. Following a injury to my hip I had to stop. I never thought I'd be able to engage in this sport I love so much. Well, until I started training with Jimmy about 5 months ago. His understanding of the body, injury prevention and rehabilitation, really helped. The range of movement in my hip continues to get better and stronger. I am faster, stronger, my technique continues to improve. I really connected well with Jimmys style of training, as its about training like a athlete, the discipline and commitment. Also his passion for the sport. When I think about where I started when I first started training with Jimmy to where I am now, I feel very thankful, plus proud of my journey and I am excited to continue progressing my skills in this sport I love very much! “So grateful to have found Illi. I had some resistance when I first came across London Constellations/Illi and tried out other places/people instead which wasn’t a bad journey either, it was good to learn more about Constellations work. In the end I signed up for a 1 to 1 and the change was instant for me. Funny how we self-sabotage. “Matt and Em looked after our dog Fig while we were away on holiday. They were fantastic and we got lots of regular updates with photos. Its clear how much they both love dogs, they put us completely at ease and we knew he was in great hands. Fig absolutely loved them and I think he was pretty devastated when they left. “Dr Anthony helped me recover from a major lower back incident only in 4 visits, at a point when I was feeling insecure and afraid that I had suffered serious damage. When I started my physiotherapy I had difficulty walking, lifting weights, sleeping, and even sitting in my office chair, which made my every day life very difficult, especially as the father of a toddler. The exercises and therapy that Dr Anthony asked me to follow took into consideration the chronic problems I'd been having with my lower back, and previous episodes that stretched back almost 16 years. “I've trained here for a few months now, and feel it's an excellent place to train. I've trained at several martial arts clubs over the years, both good and not so good. I'm pleased to say that London Wing Chun Academy is one of the best places I ever trained. Great instructors, really observant, supportive and knowledgeable. The type of training really works got me, because it includes plenty of practical application, and a good amount of pad work. It's a really welcoming place to train too, a good spirit amongst those that train there. Finally, it's a well-equipped centre with plenty of bags, wooden dummies, and a weights section. I wish I'd started training here earlier!”

“I was a complete beginner and tried a number of other classes before deciding on Salsa Tropical. My experience with others varied from good to absolutely off putting and discouraging. I eventually came across Maria's classes through Londonsalsa. Maria and her team are really great teachers. They are always attentive and observant, picking up on small details when you make mistakes to help improve your overall styling. There are several classes to ensure you are with others of the same level. Each class always has a male and female lead, who participate in all the exercises so they dance with you during the lessons. Great way to identify any mistakes. There is always a lot of emphasis on timing, technique, and styling, but above all, the environment is friendly, fun and supportive. Definitely recommend Salsa Tropical if you are looking to start or improve Salsa!”

The extended session for the first meeting is unconventional but it makes absolute sense to discuss what brings you to the sessions and what you want to achieve from them.
