“We stumbled across this Italian gem whilst looking for a bite to eat ahead of the Varsity Hockey match at the Olympic Hockey arena. We were warmly greeted by owner Matteo, and we immediately felt comfortable. We had cheese burgers and chips, which were delicious as you would expect from a master butcher. I had a pint of the on tap IPA, which was super refreshing. Great shop, with onsite butcher, deli, wine, and beer for sale. Wish we lived closer. The locals are spoilt with this exceptional establishment right on their doorsteps.”

“My wife and I went to celebrate our honeymoon in London, and wanted to go for a steak on our last evening. The reviews were good, so tried Steak & Company. The staff were attentive, the venue nice but the food, wow, it was great. Everything was way above what we expected, which made it such a great experience. “I have no idea where to start. First off, brand new establishment, under the new premier inn. Crew are still learning where the feet go, but the atmosphere and the sheer friendliness speaks volumes. The food is first class. The steak (pictured) was the steak platter (three 4oz) was of fantastic quality and the flavour….just wow. Great breakfast. All ingredients were amazing. If you come to London, go here. Cheap hotel stay and easy access to London tubes. With great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.”

“Really glad to find this restaurant has opened up locally. Dishes are such a reasonable price that I plan to come here again and often. We had pork and prawn wonton noodle soup, beef brisket noodle soup and the Beijing pork dumplings. The beef brisket noodle soup was the standout dish…the meat was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth.”

“I just had my 50 th birthday party in The bistro using the new party package which the venue, buffet and DJ was all included . I can honestly say the evening was everything and more than I hoped for . From start to finish everything went to plan , the buffet food was perfect , staff extremely helpful with suppliers decorating the venue and then helping to sort gifts and everything at the end of the evening . “As far as pizza goes, Pizza Pilgrims deserved a definite 5 stars. With unique options (including vegetarian and vegan ones), both pizzas I tried had amazing flavor, the perfect amount of goey cheese, and were just the right size to leave me feeling satisfied. My mate and I ordered the the 8-Cheese and Double Pepperoni & Spicy Honey pizzas. As someone who doesn’t tend to like pepperoni pizza, I really enjoyed this one. The spicy honey added a perfect kick and the pepperoni had just the right amount of crisp. For the 8-cheese, the sweet chili jam absolutely made it, and complete with the tableside chili oil was perfect. Splitting the two pizzas offered the perfect contrast between the different flavors as well. The dough was crispy on the outside but still a bit softer and chewy on the inside which is exactly how I like it. I have yet to find a better place for pizza and London, and honestly, this was better than any pizzas I experienced when last in Italy either.”

“My family, friends and myself all visited the Chelmer Village restaurant on Saturday, the 22nd of October. We were very lucky to have AAYUSH as our waiter. Firstly, I need to say the food was as always, not a disappointment. I’m a regular to Miller and Carters and It was my choice to celebrate my 50th at your establishment and as always, the food was exceptional and much enjoyed. But primarily I’m writing this review to compliment you on your waiter AAYUSH. This young man and I mean that in a very non-patronising way as I was celebrating my 50th, and he’s at least half my age. He is an absolute asset to the Chelmer Village branch and Miller and Carter of a whole. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, very well educated on what wines go with what courses and made our experience all that much more enjoyable. I can assure you we will return to Chelmer Village branch very soon and we will be requesting to be seated in Ayush’s area so that we can experience such great service again. Kellie Pack”
