“Stumbled across this place this morning when visiting Dulwich Therapy Rooms. There is a lovely atmosphere, and everyone was super friendly. We had what must be the best coffee I’ve had for a long time and enjoyed fresh pastries straight out the over. Very reasonable prices and just such friendly guys, thanks for having us!”

“Really lovely, bustling place. The staff are super helpful to regulars and new customers. The coffee place has a fresh modern feel, clean and tidy. Have had a few stops there, had croissants, sausage rolls, they have a good menu and fresh sandwiches. The hot drinks are tasty, my favourite on a cold day is hot chocolate. Highly recommend a stop off there. Plus A* baklava.”

“Having a new star Coffee open near us in avenue road Swiss cottage, not all that long ago I thought it was time I give it a go. Coffee is one of my favourite things in the world, so I have tried all of the coffee shops in my area. STAR BOX COFFEE is by far the best coffee shop in terms of the taste and quality of the coffee this was about the time that it became 'normal' to go out for a coffee with my mates. We started off visiting STAR BOX COFFEE, mainly as this was the one that had the most recommendations specially their PANINI, and fresh Sandwiches, and the Star box coffee has played a large part in making this transition for me. “Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

“A stunning venue with superb food, expertly paired with wine, exceptional customer service. We had a taster menu, and each course was just incredible! If we were to choose one course that stood out - it would be an impossible task.. but...cured scallops with foie gras, truffle and sourdough croutons were our favourite! If you would like a special night out, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

I did try a crafty cafe up the road last year who raised their prices somewhere between me ordering from the menu and having eaten a meal, since then I decided to stick to Star Cafe as they are honest. I use this cafe regularly and won't be going anywhere else!”

“The perfect pub. It’s hidden on an empty street. The facade is charming and inviting. Inside, the noise is bustling, spaces are cramped yet you can find your own place into which to nestle. The drink menu is extensive although when in traditional pubs I lean heavy towards draft beer. The food menu is interesting - I ordered the steak & ale pie. It was very good. I loved the au jus. This place has loads of personality.”

“Really really really nice chicken and rib combo. Had the garlic and her dough balls to start also and they were nice. Was disappointed with the apple crumble as there wasn't much apple, and the crumble was a bit well done. Lovely outdoor seating area at both front and back. Little booth/huts which have heaters and plastic zip down covers also. Will definitely return! Had the same main meal again today and still great! Service was a bit slow but was quite busy.”

“I had my 25th birthday party here and it was amazing! I booked karaoke in the function room which was really reasonably priced, the manager George was extremely welcoming and everyone had a great time- my friends who joined now want to do it for their birthday! You get a lovely room to yourselves and the karaoke machine was really easy to use, had all the songs and sounded great. We were in there for 3 hours singing to our hearts content! Thank you!!”
