“I came across Silhouette by chance whilst frantically trying to find a prom dress for my daughter. I turned up unannounced and Michelle was an absolute treasure making time to see me to discuss my needs and then managed to find time on another day for my daughter and I to visit her shop to look at her dresses. Having met my daughter Michelle completely got what she wanted and why, which was great. We now have a very happy young lady , a beautiful dress and shop we will definitely visit again. “Excellent service all round - I come from the other end of London to have my hair cut at D& G Acton and they never disappoint. All the staff are really friendly, with Maazen being exceptionally personable. They are very sociable, always making you feel welcome and at home. Coincidently, I worked and became friends with someone who has his hair cut there also and he feels the same way about their service I do. They've even introduced me to other people, one of which gave me a job - how many barber shops connect you to the community like that? Maazen, Hasan, and more recently Ayman have consistently managed to cut my difficult hair effortlessly, paying acute attention to both my preference and how best to make me look. In particular, Ayman does a masterful job at cutting my hair cleanly and stylishly, leaving no part out of place. The prices are very reasonable, but even if they charged a few pounds more like many other barber shops, it would be worth it for their professional service, the feeling they give you every time you see them, and the banter you get with Maazen.”

“Oh man, I think I have found my new barbers. Fred cut my hair and he listened to everything I had to say about it and paid attention to my concerns (I am slightly thinning at the front). His attention to detail was perfect and my hair looks amazing. Then it came time for my beard. He explained step by step how he was going to tidy it up and shape it and when he did cut it he followed the contour of my face and kept the length whilst still doing a great job in keeping it tidy. I can't recommend this barber highly enough and I will definitely be returning. Thanks Fred”

“This is the best DIY-Hardware shop you can find in Acton. The store owner is a gentleman and offers an excellent customer service. I have recently taken up DIY work, and the store-owner takes his time to provide a lot of guidance and advice on usage of various products needed e.g., on casing for light-bulb switches, types of screw driver heads, gardening wares, sealant guns and many more. He really helps me to make an informed decision before a purchase - this is why I am a loyal patron of his.”

“Evapo on Portobello road is a great store with very friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. They really listen to what it is you’re looking for and tailor their products to your needs. I have found myself spending an interesting time in the shop talking with staff. It’s great having female staff their too, quite refreshing. They made everything so straightforward, from the planning, through to delivery and overseeing the installation. We found the cost very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the units and doors. We had quotes from a large well-known kitchen supplier and also another local company and LKC managed to beat both quotes and I’m certain our kitchen is a far better product. He turned up on the same day and listened my requirements carefully and gave the drawings of how it looks like and showed different type of material finishes available. “Very friendly staff who are highly knowledgeable of their products and provide amazing design skills to execute a project. We bought our German kitchen and all the electric equipment which was designed and supplied by Prestige and fitted by our own carpenter, but the team paid undivided attention during the fitting process and ensured we were happy with the outcome at every step of the way. During the fitting period, we encountered a little issue to which Mohammed came directly to the site to address the issue and gave his professional advise to assess and correct the matter (even though the sale been completed). The team worked very closely with our fitters and Mohammed visited the project at different occasions to make sure everything was fitted clinically. Overall, amazing service and outstanding professionalism, would always recommend such good service to anyone buying a new kitchen and would always use them if l ever I have another opportunity to buy new kitchen. “Started my Part A of my two part Freediving course with Oyster. Was greeted by Tom and we quickly got into the course with the obligatory H&S forms, a quick Q&A before we got in the pool to make sure everyone was prepped and understood each other. Tom was so easy to understand, without using any slang, we all felt at ease and understood every word. I felt relaxed the whole way through, which is key when you are Freediving. I managed a 2:45 static although not great, i learned how to prepare and zone out for better future results. Truly recommend Oyster for all your diving needs!!! “Walk-in Ear wax removal- AMAZING! I had a build up of wax in my right ear, I used ear drops which only made it worse. I could barely hear in that ear which made me miserable for the two days it was completely blocked. I had spent about an hour calling around different places for the micro suction and there were either no appointments or they wanted to charge the earth. This pharmacy was the last I called and they could see me within the hour. I saw Mr Shah who was super helpful. The wax was very stubborn despite the softening drops I had been using but Mr Shah was determined to get it out and he did. I can hear again and I cannot thank him enough!!!!! And at only £35 for the one ear, he was by far, one of the cheapest. Highly recommend this place!!!! Thank you!!!”
