“One of the best lunch spots for a hearty and delicious satay chicken and rice! Always go for the large even though the standard portion is pretty hefty. The pickles are amazing and the rice is always perfectly cooked. I get it at least once a week and the staff are always friendly! Highly recommended!”

I recommend lobak, crispy tofu, any of the beautiful yellow curries (the prawn is my favourite), and crispy noodles too from the mains. The gadoh-gadoh in peanut sauce, chicken satay and spring rolls satay are fantastic too from the starters.”

“Found this gem just by a chance last Monday. Was not really hungry so we thought just order 2 dishes and 3 of us could share but when they said their roti canai were freshly made not the frozen ones, we gave in. We ordered banana leaves w mutton, nasi lemak beef rendang & roti canai w chicken curry. OMG the mutton curry was out of this world! Just like mom’s cooking! And a big shoutout to the beef rendang! Hit all the spots. We can taste the TLC in that beef rendang! Feel like raya ok! Enough said. Roti + chicken curry didnt disappoint as well. We were happy campers! Keep up the good work guys. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re London! Or a branch in Birmingham perhaps? We totally had our epic ‘Le Festin’ moments that day. Thanks for the such lovely food!”

“Came for the chicken satay, which were brilliant, like home made Malay food. But blown away by the Mee soup with prawns. Was outstanding, tasty and nutritious!!! And huge portion. Getting a seat can be hit and miss, as have periods of being super busy and then goes quiet. Best to reserve by phone. Service was quick, very friendly pleasant staff. August 2022: Also lovely tea”

“Great little find. Really tasty south fried chicken burger, very good size, chicken breast not thigh, with a very tasty sauce. Fries were super crispy and huge for such a cheap price. Such good value. And the staff were super friendly as well. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.”

“Went there thinking they are a part of the Eat out to help out scheme where you get 50% discount, but it turns out they are not. My mistake. Nevertheless, the food was very good. Salt and pepper squid was perfect, and green curry with shrimps was just a tad bit too salty. A lot of shrimps in it, though. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were following all the Covid prevention measures.”

“Lovely venue which is quite big inside, security on the door are friendly. Good menu with lots of choices, was really happy with what I ordered it was very filling and full of flavour, the Korean fried chicken wings were my favourite, black pepper prawns could do with a little bit more flavour. Service is really good and staff are friendly. Definitely try the virgin mango daiquiri.”

“It's all about the flavours! We tried the veggie bento box and it's a party on your tastebuds. The chefs know their onions (or miso). It's simply delicious! Tofu is made in-house, the miso broth has real depth and the techniques used are complex and clever. I wouldn't be surprised if this place has a line running to South Ken very soon!”
