I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

I have also had catering from them for a party and as usual they gave a great service! Highly recommend.”

I said: I’ll try this tonight. The experience started from second 1. Staff were so polite and friendly! what I thought it was a take away shop is actually a restaurant (you can Take Away too), decor is outstanding. Opened a month ago so everything looks new and shinny, on top of that they also have a patio that you can use once its refurbishment is finished. I decided to get take away but I will come soon and sit in the restaurant soon. My food was excellent, the lamb shawarma is to die for, I can’t wait to try other items of the menu. Already forgot the names of the staff I met but very lovely people. Will visit soon as I live in the neighbourhood. Also they open til late. Highly recommended”

I had a crab pasta and it reminded me of the childhood crabs my dad used to prepare while at the same time offering a little chilli kick. My husband had the best pizza (he used to be a pizza chef so he knows) he had for years. Then based on this we scoffed down a wonderful grilled peach dessert (pictured). Impeccable service and authentic (as in just personal - non corporate) decor. We will be back!”

From the pictures I thought the crockery might be in plastic containers but the food was served in very tasteful japanese ceramics which makes a difference to me to the dining experience. Very delightful pretty surroundings. We were the only ones there, seems like leytonstone is pretty quiet for dining. They are not properly appreciated here! In central London I'm sure they'd be packed. We were there from 6.30-7.30pm or so. There were 2 deliveries collected whilst we were there and 1 guy who came for a take away. Seems more popular for take aways which is a shame as it's a lovely looking restaurant.”

We wanted to go and check it out and we weren't disappointed. Food is excellent, really tasty and well presented. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are so friendly and attentive. A couple of minor downsides are there's only one toilet per male and one per female which can get busy. A little tight with regards to seating but it's not the worst we've experienced. Although in the warmer months there is an outside seating area. Highly recommended for a great night of food and drinks. Will certainly return.”

● Closed“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

● Closed“We went there for a date night with my wife. We have a love of Turkey having got married there and we have been visiting the country for nearly 20 years. This restaurant is small from the outside but huge inside and super tidy and clean. The owners spotted we were new customers and made us feel totally comfortable and looked after. The food was beautiful and delicious. All the staff there were friendly. The food was amazing and looking at the pictures on the other reviews feel remiss that we didn't take any pictures. We had 3 courses and by the time we left we could hardly walk ha ha. You could not fault anything. We will definitely be back and we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Avril and Lucy”
