“We undertook a large renovation of our home and based on recommendations of friends we approached InHouse Designs. Based on prior experience with other similar companies we were a bit hesitant, but there was no need to be. We provided a brief of what was needed which was basically a new kitchen, utility room, 2 ensuites and family bathroom. We wanted to budget in certain areas and spend more in others, the vast selection of products caters for this really well. The team were excellent, put together some great design proposals with practical considerations that were not highlighted by previous companies we had visited. A very competitive price was given especially combining the tiles. We placed our order and over the period of the renovation build, inhouse design were excellent keeping me updated on the progress of my order and working around the renovation project schedule which was not going to plan!. We are delighted with our Kitchen, utility room and bathrooms. We look back and think which companies we had used that we would recommend to others, no hesitations to recommend this company for sure.”

After visiting a few kitchen showrooms, the quality of materials on offer at Halcyon meant we immediately knew this was the one. “This company is simply amazing. We had a really complex kitchen project and had been to six kitchen companies and their corresponding designers to get a design done (some cheaper, some significantly more expensive than Interior Design Concepts). Our impression was always the same: their input was limited and, as we learn about kitchen constraints, they always had mistakes in the design that if we hadn’t notice it would have been a disaster. With Lily (IDC designer) everything was different. She started asking for “hard constraints” (ie budget amongst other things) and unlike others who would push that in the end, Lily didn’t. She worked with that and spent enormous amounts of time looking at alternatives that would create a beautiful but full of functionality design whilst still keeping the constraints. But it didn’t finish there. When it came to installing the kitchen she followed everything from beginning to end. I lost count of how many times she came to the house to check. By the way, the installer she sent, Mario, was excellent too. At some point they even realised our builder had made two obvious mistakes with the electrics (something the builder rather than them should have known!). It was too late to correct them but she was the one who came up with alternatives that would anyway make the whole project work. Anyway, as a final word: Lily is amazing, we ended up with a beautiful kitchen (that was worth waiting for) and she took away from me enormous amounts of headaches. 10 out of 10”

Rachel’s designs are timeless, and are imbued with rich significance and meaning. I always get complimented on my gold turquoise ring and different gold necklaces! I love wearing my various RE pieces, I feel like they are an extension of me, they feel natural and are all well made so last a long time! I also appreciate the store’s ethical stance. This place is always a buzz during design week if you are around, with fun creative workshops, music and collaboration with other local makers as well all happening at the RE store. “I’ve had all my piercings except my first lobes done here (that’s 13) and I’ve had an amazing experience. The staff are so welcoming, it’s really easy and straightforward to book appointments through whatsapp, and all my piercings have healed well and turned out just how I wanted. KD will explain step by step what he’s doing during a piercing and then gives aftercare info on cards which I find very very helpful. As soon as my most recent piercings have finished healing I plan on going back for my bridge and for some more on my ears and I already know I’ll have a great experience as usual”
