“Having been ordering from here for years now, since they opened! I am half Persian so know about good Persian food as my dad is an amazing cook and this restaurant has top quality food and it’s always cooked to perfection every time I order or dine in. The koobideh and joojeh is my favourite but for a stew I always have gormeh sabzi. The chips are really nice too. I have also had catering from them for a party and as usual they gave a great service! Highly recommend.”

“A great find. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Whilst I have eaten in Persian restaurants before this seemed to a cut above. We ate in and it was pretty quiet but then it was 2.30pm on a Monday in January. Even then the food was fresh, moist and delicious. We shared a starter of Aubergine and walnut with amazing bread (Kashnk Bademjan) for mains we had slow cooked lamb neck with excellent rice. (Baghali Polo) Tender and tasty together with a first for us, Dizi a traditional lamp chick pea and veg stew in an earthenware pot (Which we got to take home) that you crush then roll in bread with fresh herbs and pickles - eating the liquid as a soup. Divine. I can't say if it is authentic but I get the feeling it is. I can say it is definitely great food and generous portions. Highly recommended”

When we return to London, this will be the reason. I forgot to take a photo of the meal before we began eating. But as you can see, we savored it.”

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary and, upon arrival, we were greeted with a candle lit table, rose petals arranged into a love heart, and a bottle of chilled prosecco! “A must-try while in London! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, absolutely no regrets. The food is fresh, filling and tastes amazing. Staff are very welcoming and kind, giving an overall wonderful experience! Joojeh breast was very tasty, lamb biryani was very filling, the koobideh was so yummy and juicy, and the naan with the oil and spices added the finishing touch. Paired with the classic saffron rice, these are classic dishes served right. Hats off to the chef for the incredible meals! We'll be back the next time we are in London.”

“One of the best Persian restaurants I’ve been to. The portions sizes are more than big enough and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the lamb shank, it was soft and melts in your mouth. Also the shisha was excellent. Will definitely come again.”

“I have been to Faanoos a couple of times and always leave satisfied. The warm air that hits you as you walk in the door past the tandoor style oven puts a great big smile on my face. Being extra hungry today, I had the mixed grill kebab sandwich with chips and hummus. Meat was cooked really well, hummus was lovely and rounded off with the tandoor style bread which sits as the large edible bowl to work with. Great for a lunch time quick meal or a lounging dinner.”
