“Our son started at the Beehive when he had just turned 2 and from the minute we met Lucy, Jenny and the team we knew this was the right nursery for us. The setting is wonderful - big indoor nursery space with lots of natural light as well as a huge garden for plenty of outdoor play. The Beehive team create a calm, loving and supportive atmosphere for the children with lots of fun activities and plenty of music throughout the week. Our son was slow to settle and tended to be teary on drop off - Lucy couldn’t have done more to help him through this transitional period and before long he was running into nursery with a huge smile of his face. He LOVES it there! We will be sad to say goodbye to the team in a couple of weeks. If I wrote everything I love about this nursery in a review it would the length of an essay. Suffice to say we cannot wait for our daughter to start there next Easter!”

“Our daughter has been at N club for 2 years. She adores it and her teachers Joana and Asma in the Cove. They are out on trips each day in the forest or parks, eat amazing food and do brilliant activities - like making a recycling plant. Thank-you Cove!!”

As a qualified social worker who has worked in child protection it was imperative that our daughter was placed in a happy environment where safeguarding is paramount and she would be encouraged to develop. Over The Rainbow have ensured that she settled in well and has a key worker who she felt secure and happy with. We receive regular updates with regards to her progression and it is clear to see that the staff are passionate and caring about the children. Our daughter has been taught so much, from learning to share and take turns to using cutlery to feed herself (all age-appropriate things). Our daughter runs into nursery each week and we are very pleased that she enjoys her time at the nursery. The staff are extremely motivated to give each child the best learning and play experiences, and they are also very caring. They teach respect and emotional resilience incredibly well. Activities include walks looking for forest treasures, bug hunts, mud play, rolling down grassy (or muddy!) slopes, crafts, woodwork, campfire singing, games, cosy story-times under canvas, and picnics.”

“We have two boys. Our eldest attended the nursery last year and "graduated" this year. Now is our youngest's turn...The building is very new and modern, always very clean and tidy with very good facilities. What does make it stand out though, I think are its people and we couldn't ask for more from a nursery; Very friendly, honest, family-like staff , yet extremely professional with always clear communication with us parents. We have seen our kids learning and developing every day and you can actually see the difference; they are more sociable, more responsible, and are building their personality day by day. We never heard them complaint and not want to go to school. Our younger son was always difficult to keep happy and entertain, yet somehow the ETHELRED teaching staff have managed to get him engaged and involved in so many activities now. Our eldest is outperforming at the reception this year and always getting praised for his good behaviour, his thirst for knowledge and his creative mind I am very convinced that this is thanks to the extremely good foundations he managed to build during his time at the Ethelred.”

“Secret Garden nursery is a truly a hidden gem! I felt it was the right place for my daughter from the very first visit. The nursery itself is gorgeous and very organised. The outdoor space is massive and is utilised to the fullest. The manager and teachers are fantastic, playful, loving, creative, energetic and very knowledgeable. Alexandra adjusted very quickly to the nursery (no surprise there!) and formed very close bonds with her teachers. She is always very eager and happy to go every morning and reluctant to leave the nursery at pick up time! She has learned so much since she started and is becoming a compassionate and considerate person already, which is wonderful to see. Alexandra has made a lot of friends although she was shy and reserved at the beginning (she's also the youngest in her group). Having so much space, choice, freedom and encouragement allowed her to do things at her own pace which made settling easy and boosted her confidence greatly!”
