Desi Flavours London
“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”

Curry in a Hurry
“I’ve been ordering curry in a hurry for just over 3 years now and wow. All I can say is their quality of food only gets better. The staff for one are amazing, very attentive over the phone, always listen to delivery instructions when ordering online, happy faces and lovely conversations when food is dropped. I’ve had the same driver for about a year and a half now and he is wonderful. The food is delicious, if I’m not in the area and people want a curry, I will travel to Walthamstow for a pickup order, because I would rather order a curry that makes me feel full and tastes amazing then order from another place and be disappointed. I can say that I only order curry from this place as they deliver the food in a hurry like their restaurants name, so they more than live up to that. My order is : Chicken Vindaloo, Pilau rice, chicken shashlik, onion Bhaji’s, Bombay aloo, pappadoms, plain nan. This food lasts me for a filling dinner and a filling lunch the next day. I’ve never known a place to really fill out their containers. The spice on the vindaloo is just mouth watering. You can taste the flavour when the food is in the air and it’s just wonderful. All I can say is 5 stars, a massive thank you to the cooking department and to front house and the staff overall. Excellent food, excellent staff - anytime you fancy a curry in no doubt get it from curry in a hurry”

Bombay Bowl
“Stumbled across this little gem before heading into my Life in the uk test! The moment I walked in I felt such warmth and positive energy. I loved the dark green exterior very grounding/nurturing heart centre colour. The owners were SO welcoming and friendly such a nice couple. I had an oat milk mocha in a rather fabulous Harrods mug which was DIVINE. I would definitely go back again.”
The Great Indian Kitchen
“Second time dining here with quite a large group of friends. I absolutely love dosas and the ones they serve here really hit the spot.. They have a great variety of sides and curries are all very tasty and of reasonable portions. You can also ask for extra or less spice with your orders. Love the friendliness of the owner and all the other staff too. Would recommend and definitely visit again :)”
Flavours of India
“So for the last two days I’ve been ordering from this amazing place! You can smell how good the food is from the bag! The people that run it are absolutely lovely and the food is really nice! I especially loved the tandoori prawns and the lamb madras. I ordered something with aubergines and can’t remember what it’s called but it was DELICIOUS! Will definitely order again”
Mittee Indian Restaurant
“Amazing time for a birthday dinner, highly recommend! I came to Mittee with 25 friends for a celebratory birthday dinner and from planning to the actual evening, Prachandra and the team at Mittee were great! Prachandra helped me come up with a good set menu for the night, ensuring there would a be a wide range for people to choose from and was very pro-active in making sure I had all I needed and was ready for the evening. On the night itself, they were more than ready for us when we had arrived, having kept a separate section for us and even putting up some happy birthday banners, which was a really lovely touch. The food was phenomenal, with all my friends loving their dishes, and those with dietary requirements (nut allergies, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant etc..) were really well catered for. I had a wonderful time, and the front of house were amazing - with a special shout out to Ash who looked over our party really well. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely venue for any type of dinner, celebration or event. The whole evening went a lot better than I could have hoped for, and I cannot wait to go back soon! Thank you for making my birthday really special!”
Apna Punjab | Indian Restaurant | Catering
“What an amazing company to deal with. Our original Caterers for our wedding cancelled with 3 weeks to go for our wedding and Inder and his team at Apna Punjab provided us a tasting session and a competitive price and provided some of the best food I’ve eaten and especially so fresh for my wedding in cornwall, Wadebridge. They travelled over 200 miles and cooked all the food fresh at the venue. The service was efficient and very high praise from all the guests at the wedding. Thank you so much Inder and your team!”
The Grand Taj
“Lovely experience here. Only got a takeaway option but has nice interior for eat-in dining.. both staff and food was lovely (mix grill starter, lamb curry and nan) Will be back. Thank you”
Colaba Indian Dining
“We went for a Sunday brunch to this amazing place. Best Indian food so far in London. Authentic, fresh and light. Definite recommend. The service was impeccable. The waiter and usher were kind and professional. We were the only customers but saw quite a few people ordering take outs. My favorite was the Paneer Butter Masala and the garlic naan. Haven’t had Peshawari naan this good in a long time. Okra fries were truly a delight. The tandoori flowers is underwhelming though. Will definitely visit again.”
Calm Indian Cow
“I bumped into this stall at covent garden a few days ago, and I was absolutely amazed by their “naan sense set”! I chose mix and match of chicken & paneer, and IT MADE MY DAY. This is one of the best dishes I ever had in London. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the curry even had joyful crispy texture, well matched with the sweetness of pomegranate. The set comes with saffron rice, naan, and vegetables. And it costed only £10! I’m sure I’ll come back often. The owner was super nice too! My favorite!”
India Gate Restaurant
“Used this restaurant in it's previous guise of Punjab and was disappointed when it changed hands and became Indiagate. Fears were confirmed on the first visit. Heard recently ownership had changed again and decided to give it another go. The improvement was marked. Food much better and a general impression that the place was well set to get back to former glories.”
Amchur Restaurant And Bar
“I ordered through deliveroo and it was delivered super quickly. All of the food we ordered was so tasty (we also received free extra poppadoms!) and everything was allergen labelled which I was really impressed with! Will defiantly be ordering from here again and will now be our go to curry house”
Humble Thali
“A authentic Indian concept executed well by the chef. Every dish we ordered was good. The hostess Susie were very good and made the evening so much enjoyable. I wish I took more pictures, but the food was sooo good that we gobbled it down quickly without thinking about taking pictures. Will defenitely go there again. TIP: the best way to enjoy the restaurant is to go there with your friends and share the Thali platters with different mains. That way you get taste so many things.”
Sherpa Kitchen | Esher
“It had been a very long time since I’d been here as my first visit hadn’t been inspiring. What a change! Fantastic staff welcoming and despite being rushed off their feet, attentive, professional and always smiling. Service was great and the food fresh and exciting and very tasty. Definitely worth a repeat visit!!”
