PIANO WEEK International Festival & Summer School
“Piano Week in December 2020 was a wonderful experience. I am a piano/music novice with just over a year experience and as an adult learner, I wanted an experience with first rate teachers in a comfortable environment to gauge where I was and how to move forward. Piano Week exceeded every expectation. I was able to work on a variety of pieces and accomplished several "firsts" - performing in front of others (virtually), composing, improvisation, while also getting wonderful coaching on how to polish a piece, how to start a piece, technical exercises, organizing practice time, etc. I walked away inspired by the quality of the teachers and grateful they were able to connect with a novice player, pick me up where I was and give me some tools to move forward! Wonderful chance to get focused exposure to world class musicians and teachers. I took the class remotely from the comfort of home but the logistics and attention to detail were very professional! Wonderful professional staff, great participants - highly recommended!”
Discover Real London
“This was by far the most wonderful experience on our London trip. Ollie was incredibly responsive and helpful in booking our tour. Neil was our guide and brought so much joy and fun facts to our afternoon of sightseeing. Our entire family enjoy it! I would recommend this to anyone visiting London.”
London Tango Classes (Tango178)
“London Tango classes offers a really friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Classes are fantastic, Simon and Emily are gifted and approachable teachers. I always feel welcomed and I really appreciate the effort they make in creating an environment like that”
Royal Festival Hall
“What a fantastic historic London venue! To be honest I don’t think the buildings look from the outside (large concrete block) does it any justice. Inside it’s stunning and houses and the huge Festival Hall as well as big dance floor and event space. There is a large bar at ground level, as well as bars on each of the upper floors, including a top floor bar which has a balcony overlooking London and The Thames. I lovely spot for a drink before the concert. There are toilets on each of the floors (useful to know as there is often a long queue for the ground floor toilets at busy times)”
King's College London
“The scenery and location of Guy's campus is lovelier than other KCL campuses I thought.”
Mainstage Festivals
“We loved our night @thedrivein. The staff were really helpful, finding us a parking space where we could see well and I really appreciated the choice of venue overlooking the sea! The snacks were pricey but I suppose that's to be expected and we did have a bit of an issue with our car battery and had to turn our engine on for the last ten minutes of the film or risk having a flat battery. If the staff had enforced the engines always off rule we would have missed the last bit of the film. The whole experience was great and well organised and it felt very safe with regular cleaning of the portaloos - which were spotless. Will definitely come again.”
72QT - The London Latvian Centre
“A lovely old fashioned b&b right on Hyde park. The room was as described and clean. The breakfast is adequate but the room itself is drafty. The staff is very warm and friendly. The stairs and corridors creak but it's vintage!”
Wombat's City Hostel London
“Situated in a very convenient location in Central London. I went to Vombat during my office visit. Front office service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. Provided detailed information about the facility. The rooms were very nice. I've met lots of nice people there. All the beds are provided with very clean linen and a separate locker. Washrooms were also clean and tidy but it depends on whom you are in your dorm. They have a nice cozy bar on the ground floor and a separate laundry and a kitchen as well. Worth the price and very cheap compared to the other same kind of facilities in London.”
Made in Italy
“Since the Wimbledon branch closed we were missing Made in Italy. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Sharing board had so many different tastes as well as pizza’s sourdough taste was distinct! I can say their pizza is one of the pest. Montepulciano wine we had was leaving a funny after taste. When told, our glasses were exchanged with wine from a new bottle immediately. I knocked the new wine glass but even that was replaced! Friendly staff and excellent Itallian food - Made in Italy continues to be our favorite!! Thank you:)”
The Festival Inn
“Always a good night's entertainment, friendly crowd, proper poplar pub,”
Drama in the Woods
“My 3 girls have been bare bones members since its conception and over 10yrs later they are still loving it. They attend the weekly drama classes and Lamda and look forward to drama in the woods every Easter. Sinead and Emily are true inspirations and continuously go over and above. They care, they really do and write their amazing shows considering every member making them all feel valued and give them the ability to grow and shine.”
All Stars Salsa Fridays (North London)
“Fun enthusiastic professional lessons and social dancing for everyone”
Pé Descalço London
“Amazing!! The classes are extremely fun, the staff is so cool as well, always smiling, kind and keen to help you anyway they can. Simply perfect :)”
Jazz Music & Dance Co.
“The Swing Out Clinic with Sharon Davis was awesome! Every point that was covered was done in a very inclusive and engaging manner and the notes that Sharon shared with us (which included some homework, by the way) were very comprehensive and useful. I am looking forward to trying out all the great things that I learnt on the day!”
London School of Bollywood
“LSB classes are always a great experience! From choreography to teaching, a very fun and supportive team!”
Tape London
“Really nice place. Stuff was nice and the guests we really good too. If you are looking for a good night out I will recommend this club.”
Paradise London Nightclub
“We went for first time with my friends to enjoy some Latino music. We were just ladies, security and staff was always checking that we were ok. It was great, we had so much fun and we dance and stay until 5 am. Highly recommended to everyone and looking forward to come back soon!”
Tiger Tiger London
“I can't understand all the negative reviews, we went in after seeing the Matinée of Only Fools and Horses at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, the menu is small which makes it easier and the food was delicious, I found the staff to be friendly and polite and it was nice to be left alone rather than have a server keep coming up and asking if everything is OK, definitely recommend if you want a quick meal at a good price after the Theatre”
Turkish Gobble
“Food was lovely, service was excellent. Staff went above and beyond and clearly really care about your experience which is great.”
The Blue Room
“We have never been disappointed by the beautiful food at The Blue Room, by master chef Sonia and her dedicated team. We’ve had evening meals at the blue room and have just today tried the jerk Sunday lunch which went down a storm with our boys and us. Wonderfully presented, generous portions. Highly recommended”
